Very good time, if you keep training you should easily get first at a decent amount of meets

The odds of that being an accurately timed run are in doubt, which is why OP should actually compete.

You have a decent shot at landing a spot on a division 1 track team if you continue to bust your ass. That is if your reported time is accurate. Half a second faster could win you a state championship in most scenarios.

The world record for a 15 year old is 10.20. So yeah your time is good considering this was the end of your training and I assume you don't specifically train for the 100m.

Of course it is, coupled with a coach who is sloppy with a hand timer.. In middle school I ran a "14 second" 200m in track practice. I strongly suspect the coach mistimed me

But who was a fully automatic timing system with a start sensor, line-scan camera, and timing software?

There are timing companies in every state that you can hire to time your meets. Every track meet my son was in in High School was electronically timed, and about half of the meets had electronic distance measurment for shot, discus, etc. All the AAU and USATF summer/winter meets had electronic timing too. Most states require electronic timing for district qualifying seeding.
