I purchased recently protein bar from eBay seller says it is ok it to be eaten after one year of Best Buy date . I have eaten already those one expired on December .

Not a year. He's just trying to unload it. I sure wouldn't buy it or anything else from that seller.

It should be fine, but I can't imagine it's too enjoyable. They usually get hard/chewy.

depending on the bar, some can go bad before the best buy date. Depending on how picky you are they may not be spoiled after the date but they may harden up quite a bit and the not taste very good. better to buy within the dates and not chip a tooth or waste money on stuff someone is trying to unload cheap
