No IG account but I do have a goal this year. So, at 48, I finally got my chit in shape enough were I feel comfortable getting on stage; something I have always wanted to do. I was prepping for my first show in 2013 when I started having shoulder problems; had to have the end of my clavicle cut off. Rehab, start training again for said show=need to have left tricep re-attached. Rehab, start training again for said show=bilateral inguinal hernias arrive.
Down for 3 years between surgeries and rehab but finally made the stage last fall; came in 4th in an open class of 20 yr olds, which I was very happy about.
But the competitive side in me wants a first so that is my goal this year. I have a show in April, one in May and another in Sept; all have 40+ classes so I'm hopeful I can bring a good package to the stage and win one of these.
Thank you for the opportunity to try these new flavors! I was just looking at the Lucky Marsh and dat dere Funnel Cake I've heard so much about.2017 OCB Men's Physique Open 4th place

I felt like a failure (srs). And it was January 4.
I had huge plans for 2018, my best and healthiest me of all time. I planned it out. Well I planned out the goals, not so much the how-to. Anyway, I started with resolutions like “eat 5 healthy meals a day,” “exercise daily (even like 30min),” “drink at least 6L of water a day” and yeah, even “eat less tide pods” We posted these in the office, to be accountable. So everyone I know, knew my goals. Then 4 days later. I didn’t drink enough water. First week back at work was crazy busy and I sat in a desk all damn day, the first few days, crunching out tasks. I barely moved, let alone exercised. I had take out delivered to the office for lunch and dinner. Total fail. Nobody held back in pointing it out to me.
But then I realized. My goals were a bit ambitious, and hard to sustain. Not that people can’t do it. I just know life gets in the way sometimes. So I decided. My goal is to improve. Every day. A little bit. So, the goals have become: “eat healthier,” “drink more water,” and “exercise meaningfully at least 4 times a week” – much more manageable. So now I smash a bottle of water whenever I stand up from my desk (restroom, coffee, meetings) – sometimes this is only 2L in a day. I prep meals as much as possible – but having a source of quality protein at the office will definitely help me not grab the bad stuff around the office. And if it tastes incredible like my favorite cheat treats, all the better! And I am currently doing FIERCE 5 workout plan, pushing HARD (hit a new PR for overhead press!) in my sessions to maximize gains.
So that’s my goals. Get better. Little by little. And yeah, some specifics like “take time off work when I take time off work (fully disconnect)” and “get my bench up to 1.5x my bodyweight” are in there as well. Watch me squat and deadlift 2x my bodyweight too.My secret?

But srsly, PM me for any advice

Most people always make radical changes (nothing's wrong with that) at the beginning of their journey, but that's why most people don't follow through cause they're not able to maintain that lifestyle. But like you said, it's the small changes that really count Good luck with your fitness goals!!

Hey man congrats on moving to Muscletech. One my main goals has been to devote more time in going for a cleaner bulk and cut cycles, it's all the pieces and growth that goes into this. Not for plateaus but for just "how" to best use what I already know and am learning in retrospect. There are a lot of knowledge barriers and layers to look at. Im more mindful of my other strength goals and weaknesses too and just be healthier overall not just being in the best shape.

5FDP!!! YES!!!
Following you on your Instagram page. Great content for sure my man!!
My goals for 2018. It's kind of a silly goal maybe, but I'm going to shoot for some sort of training all 365 days this year. We are at February 3rd and I haven't missed a day yet. No matter what time of day I have to get it in, I want to do at least something each day to continue to work on improving my health & physique.

Clean, great profile, and the additions like creatine really set it apart!Hyper-Gro Log Thread - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=166103841
