So I'm really skinny, I am 5"11 and about 120pounds and I have a very thin face. I was wondering if I should gain some fat first to fill my face, or should I just eat a ton and workout. Would that just burn more fat off my face, i was 137 before but my face nearly looked the same as now, as if I can't gain weight in face. Also any tips to gain weight is much appreciated.

Weight gain tips?

Calorie surplus and lift consistently... Not much else to it.. Aim for 1-2 lbs gained each week.
As for where weight shows, that varies.. For me my face shows it first and my belly. Being on a deficit, my face showed first, but belly will be the last place.
Don't gauge progress by how your face looks. Eventually the weight will show and give you a fuller look.
If you eat at a surplus and lift, you'll see the changes come. Just be patient.

When it comes to gaining weight, focus on eating a ton of protein and carbs, especially if you want to gain lean muscle. When I say carbs though, I mean wholesome carbs such as whole grains. Try to eat every 2-3 hours so that metabolism is constancy working to burn excess fat in order to build pure muscle.

Milkshakes work wonders for weight gain... Have one with a meal a few times per week. You can add some natural peanut butter to it also. At your current weight, it wouldn't be harmful in terms of "fat gain". Do this for a week or two and see if it's helping the scale. No reason to concern yourself with that right now. Getting some weight on with some exercise would be the focus. You can even start with some bodyweight training until you get some decent strength to start lifting.
Just my opinion. Milkshakes, peanut butter sandwiches, whole milk, potatoes, pasta, ground beef, chicken breast, lean steaks, maybe some pork chops, cheese... Eat and enjoy...

drink your calories,
1 scoop of whey
1 cup of whole milk
1 large banana
1 cup of greek yogurt
handful of strawberries
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
1 cup of oats
if you wanna get a lil freaky, add chocolate syrup or honey or even more peanut butter
probably 900+ calories of pure deliciousness right there
drink it once or twice a day in between meals
