won't matter who Dallas drafts as long as Jerry/Garrett are in charge. We will probably draft some 6'8 DE who has 7 games experience but is an "insane athlete".
We really need a monster in the middle of the D-line, a ball hawk/enforcer safety, WR2 and a TE to replace Witten. O-line could be an option too because Cooper/Bell/Green are terrible.6'1 - 240lbs

^my optimism for Dallas is at an all time low...and don't you mean a WR1? lmao
2018 could be an exciting year for the league with all the QB changes that could happen...quite a few good prospects along with the possible moves in free agency
Edit: Watch the Browns make a move for Cousins and Le'veon and use their picks for defense and o-line looool<HTC>

As long as the Rams cut Tavon Austin it'll be a good offseason.
Getting a true NT in the draft should help the run defence, and EDGE rushers should be a primary concern in the draft along with CB help. Other than that, some OLine depth is needed cause knock on wood but i doubt they can be as healthy there as they were this yearKeep mod discussions out of your sig line

I agree. They will only be better with Wentz.
I agree, he won't command enough and really they have no one else. Despite losing a step(very possible, but I'm not sold yet), he's their best option.
My issues with Dak are complicated. A lot of the issues I'm unsure if its the OC, HC or it's just Dak.
- his accuracy is questionable
- decision making got very poor this year
- way too many safe throws
- constantly making 3rd down throws well short of the sticks
- mentally shook after that Atlanta game. Don't think he ever recovered.
A good amount of this can be contributed to the fact that it looked like the coaching staff was trying to make him a pocket passer this year, which he is not. 3rd and 1......line up shotgun and pass while you have one of the best back in the NFL..... u wat?? Dak looked great last year because they pounded the ball with Elliott, and he wasn't asked to carry the team. We saw first hand what the Dallas offense is without Elliott. It's a straight up shell of itself.
There is nothing wrong with Dak, but he needs the right coaching and game planning to be successful. He isn't going to be a 25 attempt+/300YD per game QB....and if you try to make him that, the weaknesses are going to show.
I also think a lot of Dez's issues are a result of Dallas not getting creative with deploying him as well.6'1 - 240lbs

I'm actually keeping a close eye on Davenport during these senior bowl practices. I thought he'd be a day 2 pick at best but people are hyping him up big time so if he shows up big at the senior bowl and combine he can jump up into early/mid round 1 similar to JPP. It worked out for the Giants, could work out for a team taking Davenport too.

The QB carousel this offseason will be interesting to say the least.
Free Agency you'll have:
Drew Brees - 99% sure he resigns
Jimmy G - not going anywhere. 49ers will franchise tag him if needed
Kirk Cousins
Teddy Bridgwater
Sam Bradford
Case Keenum
AJ McCarron (restricted FA)
And then you probably have Alex Smith on the trade block and maybe even Eli Manning.
Potential 1st year starters in draft:
Baker Mayfield
Lamar Jackson
Josh Allen
Josh Rosen
Sam Darnald
Did I miss anyone else?LOL @ people who follow politics

So true. We deserve a nice offseason considering the past 3 have been filled with coaching changes.
Yep I knew I forgot about some. Not sure if anyone will want to bring in Tyrod and hand over the keys to him. I think he will be viewed as a backup. We'll see about Foles next week.
I'm getting ready for the fappening 2.0 when the 49ers lock him up long term.LOL @ people who follow politics

Depends where he goes. Sometimes the mobile QBs in the right system can actually play better though rushing them may hurt their long term potential. It may be what happened to Dak in a way.
As a rookie he had a perfect situation - dominant OL, great running game, some good weapons and a good scheme in place. He had plenty of time in the pocket and they had a good thing going with Zeke, playaction and Bryant/Witten and Cole Beasley.
Injuries to the OL, suspension with Zeke and teams shutting down Beasley and suddenly he's having a big sophomore slump.

I was excited to see how Alex Cappa and Marcus Davenport would do at the senior bowl.
Well....sounds like so far they're going in opposite directions. Cappa straight up molesting people out there so far by the sound of it.
If any of you guys haven't seen the highlight film on him(yes he's an OT in a tiny ass school) it's pretty special. Very rarely do the guys he's facing off against stay upright on a play.
