    Too much calcium

I used to take Pro-Jym. I loved the taste but realized that one scoop have a lot of calcium. If i take 3 scoops a day, i would be way over my daily limit. Is having too much calcium bad? I have switched to other brand that has less calcium but they do not taste as thick.

Why are you taking 3 scoops a day? How much protein are you consuming daily? What's your diet like? What's your body weight?

The calcium is fine. The reason it's thicker is because it is a blend of different proteins.
Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.

I am trying to take 1 g of protein per pound. I am 170 pounds. when i enter all my meals in myfitnesspal, 3 scoops will give me the amount of protein I need on top of turkey, greek yogurt and all the food i take. I heard that too much calcium may give you kidney stone and constipation. I take a lot of fibers in my food, so the latest is not an issue.

I'd focus on getting more protein through whole foods honestly. You're relying pretty heavily on protein powders.

Thank you but that does not answer my original question about calcium though.

If you're a healthy individual with no prior medical concerns, that amount of calcium is not too high.

Not too high if i take 3 scoops ? My fitness pal is telling me that i am above the 100% recommended dosage. That is just my concern. Thanks. Do not want to put too much stress on the kidneys and heart if i do not need to, Apprecaite the feedback..

Keeping within context. Will the calcium content in 3 scoops of Pro-Jym lead to kidney stones in a healthy individual?
