Ten pages of google search results later I have concluded that no one has ever reviewed this piece of equipment. Well, also possible no one has ever bought one I guess....
I know I can use a corner and a towel but pass. I'd get a rack attached one but the dimensions of available space would make things really cramped. The post ones are interesting but I like the concept of free standing.
Comes out to around 80 shipped which seems reasonable but would love some feedback first from someone experienced with the attachment or with a similar unit. Feel free to recommend other units that have worked out well for you in this ballpark price range too.
Would provide you with the convenience of a working link, but, 50 posts and all...

I actually just ordered it. I got sick of my BWTG landmine post. It about pops out at anything over 100lbs. So I figured this would be better since it can be weighed down
I'll post back when it arrives.---------------------------------------

Well, awesome piece is a good start. How is the build quality, does it lie nice and flat? How much can you lift before needing to weigh it down? How do you like it compared to a post or rack mounted landmine? Does it need to be weighted if placed against a wall? Has it been kind to the sleeve of your bar?

Okay, I felt better and got a chance to unbox and use it this morning. My previous experience was the Black Widow Training gear landmine attachment. I used it a decent amount but got sick of it popping in/out at about the 90lb mark. So obviously theres the logic behind this piece. Here's my thoughts that should answer your question.
-Box arrived in good condition but the logo was beat up.
-The post has enough room to add bumper plates as weight or you can bolt it down.
-You'll notice once you put the barbell in the unit, it will slide around easily with just the weight of that barbell. So it will need to go in a corner, weighed down, bolted down or against the wall to prevent it from sliding.
-It pivots easily and freely.
-It ended up lifting up a bit with 135lbs on it doing rows but I never bothered to weigh it down because it didnt worry me at all.
-I have a Texas power bar and a Rogue Ohio one. I don't care if it's "nice" or "kind" to them, they are barbells. They are made to get beat up.
I gave it a B+. Its probably the best landmine attachment out and given the price it seems like a no brainer. A bolted rack one would have more stability but you'd be stuck with it in a certain spot. Theres a vid of me using it on insta, @jamesovercome

Been using the Rep freestanding landmine for over 2 weeks now and wanted to leave some feedback.
This was the first item I have ordered from them and am very happy. It arrived well packed and pristine. Only blemish was where the post was packed against the Rep Fitness logo which is a thin little tin badge, the edge of which got crushed by the post. Not a big deal, but the packaging method will ensure that every landmine will have this issue. Powder coat is really nice, not as thick as Rogues but I would say comparable to the BWTG hex bar I have.
Importantly, it is big and heavy. I have a friend who picked up a body solid TBR10 and this absolutely BLOWS it away in every way for a couple of bucks more shipped. I placed it in the corner and it barely moved even during heavy sets even though it is not yet bolted. The post moves smoothly and freely in all directions and I've seen no scuffing or scratching on the barbell sleeve to date from using it which is a plus.
Overall, super happy with it. Great value and quality. Would not hesitate to recommend or purchase again. Also picked up a set of bands from Rep and I am equally happy with those so far.

As a newb who is currently using this method with no issues, what is the benefit to using an actual landmine setup?
One reason I passed on a landmine attachment for my rack is that I heard it can scuff up the barbell sleeve and I don't have an old cheap barbell.
And agreed on rep's quality and shipping with items I've gotten from them so far.-dennis
