The cope is real with OP.
Here are the penalty stats in case anyone wants to look at them objectively. Technically the fix was in for Carolina since they were the least penalized team.

Brees was 39th this year in average attempted air yards. 39th...
Not sure why you expect a ton of penalty yardage. I'm actually having a hard time picturing how you can only have a 4 yard average on the PI calls you did get.
Yikes. You can't blindly expect penalties to be equal. You sound like the people who point to FT discrepancy in basketball as evidence of a game being rigged.
As for 2009, it was really just a couple of plays that people bitched about.
- Low hit on Favre's first interception. Dude was even fined for the hit afterwards, so it was pretty clearly an incorrect call that had a large swing.
- Phantom PI call in OT on an uncatchable pass.Minnesota Vikings - Dallas Mavericks - Washington Wizards - Bayern Munich

Lots of frantic cope in here. Just laying the facts out for you. It’s amazing how difficult it is to interpret recorded statistics for some of you. The saints received 12 yards of PI for an entire season with one of the best WR in the game. 12 yards. Pats received 280.

So just because the Saints were called for more penalty yards in that game means the refs favored the Vikings? If you think that's true you may need to re-evaluate your life. In that 09 game there were easily more than 5 roughing the passer/late hits that we never called. The Saints should have had 200 penalty yards against them because they were breaking the rules of the game.

So instead of a 15 yard penalty and automatic first down we lose the ball. Just that play alone is a huge miss by the refs that clearly favor the saints.
I'm just going off of memory, I don't have game film with all the penalties. I also remember there were mulitple no calls on PI in favor of the Saints and a PI call on the vikings where the ball was uncatchable. Also the "catch" in OT that was on the ground that they reviewed and gave it to the saints still. The refs clearly favored them the whole game and anyone with any sports IQ could see that. I think there was even something on espn talking about how bad it was. If it was 2 teams you didn't have a bias towards instead of the saints and it was called the same you would say the team that got the vikings end of the calls got screwed.NASM CPT

You should've clarified: Phantom PI call in OT on an uncatchable pass that put them in field goal range.
Then moments later, a ball that hit the ground and moved but was ruled a catch and gave them an even closer field goal. If the refs were favoring the Vikings that would have been overturned to no catch especially with Captaincuck talking about judgment call plays with PI and def holding.Rep trading taken out of sig

Here's the thing though breh, you're an idiot bc Thomas is Brees' only reliable receiving target and he was being shadowed by Rhodes, who they blatantly exposed anyways. I don't know why that was a point you made anyways, pretty much irrelevant. Brees was throwing at "1st team all pro" Rhodes bc it was easy for him.New Orleans Saints
