I actually started drinking back in August when I worked at a liquor store for a while. My coworkers pressured me to start drinking so I did. I started out buying a few 50mL bottles, and by the beginning of September I was a full-blown alcoholic, even after I quit the job. I got chit-faced once every two days, sometimes even on campus. I must of easily spent $100 on vodka in September.

I would actually get irritated if I didn't get drunk and it didn't help that there are three liquor stores within walking distance of my house. I knew that if I didn't do something about this, it would get out of control.

So I quit cold turkey October and haven't had a drink since.
i was never an alky but booze really fuked with my bipolar so i quit it for good 5 years ago.

Its amazing!! The first year was really weird as you discover how much everyday life revolves around alcohol ( it does in this country anyway ) and people keep trying to make you have a drink which is so fukin rude really. I told myself i could still have a drink on special occasions but ive only done this about 4 times because it actually makes me feel ill now.

It's so good to never have a hangover, never do stupid stuff you regret, never drunk fuk 3s, have great skin, less fat and be soo much healthier.

Imo its one of the worst drugs there is and i should know ive taken most of them.

It feels good, like being at peace with yourself.

Before I quit everything I was just going from one high to another all day long.

I'd drink coffee in the morning, when I came down from that I needed more coffee or something to eat, then a cigarette, then some sugar, come home and fap, more cigs, have something to eat, junk food in between, have some beers, etc.

There was this constant need to have some sort of rush/stimulation rather than just being alone with myself and dealing with it.

When I fasted for the first time all those cravings, that impulsiveness went right away though.
