    Is it possible to gain 40lbs in 6 months?

    Hey guys I need help!
    I’m 18 5’8 and about 115lbs I’d like to know if it’s possible to gain around 40lbs in 6 months. I’m trying to be bigger and stronger by then. I already go to the gym. I go everyday and rest on sundays or Saturday’s. ( I take 1 day off). Before I was consistent for 1 month and gained almost 10lbs. I was around 110 and couldn’t break it, towards the end I was pushing 121lbs.(125lbs on good days). Currently my diet consists of eggs and any kind of protein I can add chicken, ham, etc... for lunch I try to mix up whether it’s a sandwich or chicken I try to eat three meals a day if not more and snacks in between basically I’m hungry all the time. I work all parts of my body ofc. Well please lmk if this is possible. If more info is needed please lmk/ other goals thanks!!!

    Is it possible? - Yes. Is it the best route to take to an aesthetic physique? - Ehhh,not so sure about that.

    Its possible,depending on how much you're eating. How much of those 40lbs is going to muscle and how much is going to be fat is a different question. But if you're just trying to get as big as possible, ASAP, then ya its possible.

    Maybe if you are on gear but naturally no. It takes time to naturally build muscle. Just eat in a calorie surplus and aim to gain 2-4 pounds a month

    if you are fine with 25-35lb of that being fat then it's very possible.

    It's definitely possible but I'm not sure you'll be lean. I gained 25lbs in the first 7 months and got leaner but 40lbs is a lot of weight in that time period just depends on your goals and whether or not you care about aesthetics/body fat%.

    Likely not true. But understandable. 15% bf on a guy who lacks muscle may look a lot more than 20%bf on a guy who has built some solid muscle.

    I meant that I started out without abs and then 7 months later I had visible abs and more veins due to more added muscle so I looked leaner.

    To answer your question, it is very possible. Consistency and tracking is the key!
    However, will it all be muscle? No, you won't be able to pack 40 lbs of muscle naturally.
    If you're okay with building some muscle and lots of fat tho, then you're good to go!

    Eh, you'll likely be fat. Muscle can only grow so fast. This is a multi-year process. Genetics, diet, training, those kind of factors will make the difference in how fast and how much muscle you can gain, but over six months? I doubt anyone naturally is going to add that kind of weight in a matter of months without adding a great deal of fat. Be patient.

    Can you gain weight? Yup, if you eat enough. Will that weight be all muscle? Hard to tell. Since you want to get bigger, you need to eat more, but I'm pretty sure you won't be as lean as you wanted, and that'll take more time.

    Sure. If you don't have a kid's metabolism, 40 pounds in a month wouldn't be much of a chore. It would be primarily fat and water, but it would be weight nonetheless.

    If you're looking to gain 40 pounds of muscle in that amount of time, don't count on it. Insert "marathon, not race" mantra here.

    Yes! Don't listen to some of these posts. Its doable, I gained almost 45LB's in 6 months.

    However, keeping in mind that at the time, bodybuilding was my life. I was lifting 6 days a week, eating 6 meals a day, minimum of 3,800 Calories+ EVERY day, along with creatine & multi-vitamins. I was an absolute novice too, so noob gains were in my favor.

    Eat a lot and do lots of compund lifts. You can gain 40 lbs but it won't be all muscle. You can expect about 25-30 lbs of muscle in 6 months when starting out
