When you're lifting regularly, does the food you eat goes more to the muscles?

compared to when you don't lift weights at all?

Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Studies have shown that when you perform resistance exercise more of the protein you eat is built into your muscles.

Yes. Strength training promotes an increase in insulin sensitivity which results in more blood glucose being used by the muscle fibers. Also, view the study posted above, it provides good information about protein uptake and resistance training.

If that's the case then wouldn't high frequency training be the best?

MPS can be elevated up to ~48-72 hours after a workout. The evidence so far suggests that training a muscle ~2 or ~3 per week might be optimal.
