I tell it like it is, if you want smoke blown up your ass or something sugar coated. I suggest you get a Hooker and a powdered donut.

I use it all the time. To me the issue here isn't really calling those places ****holes; they are. You'd hope the President would have more tact than that, since they're trading partners and all, but that's a separate issue. The problem is linking the people from sh*tty places with their circumstances. For most people who believe in American values, you believe that places like Africa or Haiti, given non-sh*tty governance and institutions would be successful, and why not, they have tons of natural resources, plenty of beach-front property, etc. You likewise believe that places like Norway, if led by Mugabe for 40 years, would probably be sh*tholes.

You do realize Africa is a continent & not a country? There are some absolutely gorgeous as well as extremely modern areas that aren't 3rd world $hitholes. Whereas I have been in parts of the USA & a few Caribbean islands that were worse than some of those so called $hitholes.

I will tell you one place that shocked me was Bangkok Thailand, you will read and hear about a number of Asian countries as being 3rd world, not with Bangkok you shouldn't. They have malls, shops, restaurants, housing, etc that will blow away anything we have here in the states. Yes its true when you get out away from the city it becomes a whole nother country however."You know that little thing in your head that keeps you from saying things you shouldn't? Yeah, well, I don't have one of those."

Large swaths of New Jersey
Tennessee
St. Louis
Chicago, don't let the T.V shows fool ya
New York, absolute ****hole, only looks good from the skyline or across the rivers. Otherwise it smells like piss, everyone is pissed off and spitting on the ground everywhere.
Detroit, needs a wall like Mexico. It's safer in Baghdad than it is in Detroit.
New Haven, cannot be fixed.
Lawrence, Mass they should give out free heron and escort ambulances in and out. Oh wait...
You didn't think I'd leave Cleveland off this list right? lololololololol I'll never forget that cheeky tourism video with the tagline, They only export crippling depression. It's accurate.

Dearborn is mini-Baghdad. It was always a running joke when I grew up. But then I dated a girl who was born in Baghdad. Most of her family that wasn’t in Baghdad, was in Dearborn. Dearborn is definitely, definitely safer than Detroit. Safer than Baghdad? I won’t go there. But I will say Dearborn is safer than Detroit.
