combination of reasons:

1) cucked low withdrawal limits so it would take a month to move some of my stuff, with high withdrawal fees
2) high withdrawal fees
3) actively trading, have cucked myself by not being able to get funds off my ledger in time to escape or get in on something
4) too many fuarking wallets, Ledger doesn't store much

I hear what you are saying, keeping assets on the exchanges has a ton of advantages, the one disadvantage is when it MTGoxs and you are fawked though. My vagina is too subtle to play that dangerous game.

There is a 160 BTC sell wall at 1 SAT, and 3k BTC sell wall at 2 SAT.
People are trying to buy at 1 SAT and sell at 2 SAT, but they can't break the 1 SAT wall, so they have to sell again at 1 SAT
