for the 4th time I put down 500 pounds of topsoil to fill in patches all over the yard....1" of rain in 50 minutes this morning.
No sign of dirt or seed anywhere..all washed away again

Depending on the size of your hole.. chicken wire over some pine needles/wheat straw will keep it in place until the grass can take hold. Hold it down with landscape fabric pins.

Never actually smoked ribs, then I found an awesome recipe for baking them...still about a 4-5 hr process but, awesome homemade rub and sauce too.
