Question Wonder if I may be pre-diabetic.....

If the best fat loss results I've ever yielded were when I was utilizing ketosis, I wonder if I may be pre-diabetic............
I've tried other diets in the past. Counting macros nutrients and calories has worked for me. In terms of body fat percentage, nothing worked better than keto.

If you're curious, go to your doctor and ask to have your A1c checked. That said, it may have been more useful to check before losing the fat as you may have reversed a pre-diabetic state with the weight loss.

I'm trying to make the connection here....are you referring to the hunger blunting effect you experienced on the keto diet vs. always being hungry on a traditional diet (which you attribute to insulin resistance)?

But yes, as mentioned above, your HbA1c levels on your bloodwork will show whether you have any kind of glucose intolerance.
