UC Berkeley Professor Emeritus
Each tweet gets his message retweeted so he dominates social media. Reporters, social media influencers, and many others fall for it hook, line, and sinker. Every time. They retweet, share, and repeat his messages ad infinitum. This helps Trump tremendously.

Lol. More low education posting from the cultists.
It's not like Obama won the presidency on his first try or anything.
Stupid post of the week.
he worships someone with below average intelligence, which tells you a lot about his intelligenceIt's hard to win an argument with a smart person. It's damn near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person. - Bill Murray

I edited Moksha's post a little because I don't think it's helpful to insult people.
However, I agree 100% with everything else Moksha is saying here.
Also, it's important to note the same exact thing happened during the Watergate scandal/crisis. Nixon lied the entire time. Nixon attacked the investigators. Yes, there was a gradual dwindling of support amongst the GOP as it became increasingly clear Nixon committed some terrible crimes. But remember: Nixon's core supporters supported him the entire time. And they kept supporting him up until the very end until you could simply not refute the allegations any longer. And, even after Nixon resigned, there were still Nixon supporters who kept on supporting him...despite all the illegal activity which was uncovered.
But the good thing is not everyone has to be persuaded that Trump is a terrible leader. Only enough people have to be persuaded. Trump only won by a small margin in a handful of states which put him over the top. The same moderates/independents that supported him last time have already turned on him.
I believe Trump is a threat to the Republic, and I know people like Nutsy think I am being hyperbolic, but I caution everyone to consider that the Roman Republic did not transform into an Empire overnight. Nor, did the Weimer Republic suddenly transform into Nazi Germany within any short period of time. In both cases it was a slow process that took place over years, decades.
There is no political policy which is more important than the Republic itself. Whatever you think Trump is doing right in terms of policy none of it matters in the long-term if our institutions are destroyed in the process.Last edited by beowulf10; 01-07-2018 at 10:08 AM.
Doc had but three redeeming traits. One was his courage; he was afraid of nothing on Earth. The second was the one commendable principal in his code of life, sterling loyalty to friends. The third was his affection for Wyatt Earp.

It's your fellow Lying Lunatic Leftists who are the ones destroying the sanctity of the press and courts by using those positions in dishonest, abusive, troubling ways for partisan political games and harming the country by it,
but no, you blame it on Trump for calling it out
and Trump isn't jailing any political opponents so stop make **** up
Your fellow Lying Leftist Lunatics murdered 100 million political opponents around the globe in the past century. Trump better not call you out on it or it will be his fault yall slaughtered those people.Last edited by LukeLissen; 01-07-2018 at 10:31 AM.

Also, underrated is pushing law-making onto congress. The sooner we have a less powerful executive branch the better; unfortunately congress is even more embarrassing than trump, on both sides of the isle.
He's going to win again as long as the left keeps attacking him for being stupid/crazy/retarded/etc. Obama was able to use the birther stuff to totally drown out legitimate criticism and drive the right into a total frenzy; Trump is letting the same thing happen here. When it's just hysteria on one side, and trolling + good economy on the other side, we know who will win.
Now, pretty much everybody I know thinks we are going to have a recession in the next few years, likely this year or next, but I would be greatly amused if Trump managed to stave it off through a combination of luck, tax cuts and quid-pro-quo protectionist policies against China.
