You forgot to ad “as far as I know”. Mercury poisoning happens very slowly, you won't be able to tell if it's happening to you.

Different types of tuna have different amounts of mercury, agreed. But if you're consuming >500 gram daily there's no doubt you're exceeding the safe limits.
