I am 5 foot 11 and 145lbs with a flat stomach but I can still pinch a little bit of fat on my body. I have a bit of muscle but not a lot and want to know how much weight I would roughly need to lose to get definition (eg abs and the line between shoulder and tricep).

None
You don’t have enough muscle to have good definition. Cutting from where you are will just leave you emaciated. You can't help the hopeless.

cut of bulk
At 5-11 and 145 pounds there is a good chance you shouldn't be cutting. If you could post up pics it could help out which would be better suited for your current physique to what your goal is.Tough to tell without knowing ur body fat percent 5-11 at 10% body fat is highly different from 5-11 at 15 or 20% body fat. Hope this helps good luck. Make the best choice for you.

BUILD about 20 lbs of muscle, you are underweight.
There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

Will building this amount of muscle get rid of the fat or loose skin around my body and give me definition?

It wont do any of those, but you would probably need to drop below 130 lbs to get the look you are getting, which is pretty ridiculous. If you are going for the twink powerbottom look i suppose that is good.

Lean bulk and gain muscle. You will look like a starved holocaust child if you keep cutting without a base

If you cut now you will just be skinny. You need to build muscle and cut after you have enough mass.
