Remember Sorinex, the company that was swallowed in the Matte Black Hole.
What could they have done differently?

So many forget the groundbreaking work, going back to the 70's of this worthy company. And alone among many is this company's worthiness to storehouse the original iron hefted by so many before us, their DNA still on the plates and bars, so that they dare not repaint or refurbish or even wipe off, that DNA. The company displays that iron at their facility so that others will partake in the manliness that proceeded us and live long past us. Sadly, and too late for the employees or proprietor to grab the shotgun or even call the local police, they realized that hordes of garage mechanics and welders, some of whom live in Northern New Jersey, have raided their fields, plundered their store houses and wood piles, and drained their wells, taking with them groceries, water, and wood for themselves without remuneration or even a thank you.
For these reasons prices have gone up.You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

I think that they may just be more focused on the school gym market than on the home gym market - they have posted some photos of some pretty impressive builds on social media. Perhaps they realized that their margins would be crushed in the highly competitive garage gym market once Rogue (and many 'copy-cat') companies popped up.

Sorinex (reflex built) lives on in my basement..... Not legendary though. Agree with Tom, they seem to have gotten big into institutions.....I'm sure there's better money in that compared to dealing with picky individuals.

I think they realized a few years earlier what Rogue is realizing now...the small box/garage gym equipment business is overly saturated and shifted their sites on the commercial end, or more specifically, collegiate market. In a weird way, they're going back to what they were before Reflex started doing their builds and they had a presence in the small box/garage market.

They must have been feeling empowered.
There's legendary, and then there's Legendary.

Some fan-boy sent it to me. From Texarkana, but he lifts, bro.
100% 'Murican. And they define Legendary. I'm honored to be featured on their site and proud to have them in my purple palace of pumpitude.
Some guys from New Jersey and a guy from Canada ran off with all the produce.
He's got a secret garden, but he prefers them before they get ripe. Something about the produce being firmer.Last edited by AttyGuy; 11-30-2016 at 04:13 PM.

Hey now! I'm not one of those IH guys. The gym is featured on their showcase page, along with other home gyms and some commercial gyms as well.
You could've just said you were "Honcho'd" and we'd know exactly what you meant.
Got that one right. You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

i have nothing but nice things to say about the Sorinex company. Richard Sorin, in my opinion is an iron legend; all of my interactions/dealings with him have been great. and if you are reading this mr. sorin i hope to have your plates shipped off to you soon.
Atty, that is pretty dope that your home gym is featured on the legend site.[]---[] Ivanko Barbell Crew #89 []---[]
