I heard an interesting take on Dez' tenure in Dallas from Bob Sturm. Basically said that Garrett being a doormat and sub-par coach cost Dez vital leadership during his formative years. Made a lot of sense. He didn't seem to learn a damn thing while he was here but we don't have a playmaker at WR now.

I heard an interesting take on Dez' tenure in Dallas from Bob Sturm. Basically said that Garrett being a doormat and sub-par coach cost Dez vital leadership during his formative years. Made a lot of sense. He didn't seem to learn a damn thing while he was here but we don't have a playmaker at WR now.

Well the other side of that is Dez has always been a can't tell me nothing guy. So not sure how "formative" those years could've been. It took him 3 years to get going and his completion percentage has dropped ever since. That goes back to my super powers comment, nostalgia is a mothe****er with those rose tinted glasses.

He also wanted absolutely nothing to do with the new wr coach.


The antics are tolerated long as your not costing too much and you're producing. When that production drops, you need to put your head down and get to work. He didn't.

God our staff sucks. We all love Jason Witten, but he is only able to make some crucial 3rd down catches past the chains at this point. His blocking as gone down, and YAC is non existent.
