From what I've read the Randy situation may not be as bad as we think...seems to still have the support of the team and could still play in 2019

Really think Eifert can stay healthy? He's a great talent, but I can't remember the last time he stayed on the field for a season.....if ever.

dude never found a way to be elusive. He's big though. Just kinda stumbles about.

Look at Kittle. Olsen. Kelsey. Ertz. And on and on. Are they better athletes? I'll agree Witten is a little overrated in this fast, offense-dominated NFL. Its just evolving, no question. Too many 5000 yd passers this year to argue the point.
Even history's longest single RB carries list by franchise is dominated by the 2018 year.

I saw a pic comparing DEs in the 2018 season and Tank wasnt in the top 10, other DEs having more sacks and tackles. If he wants a lot of money id say trade him cuz hes special, but not that special to demand a chitload of money(srs)

Also got a little excite when i saw witten is playing another year, not gonna lie

I love Jason Witten. In fact, he's one of my favorite Cowboys players of all time. But, I would hate to see him come back and suck. Aside from it possibly messing with the team's success, it also puts a blemish on his career if he comes in and stinks it up.

I dunno.....I don't feel too good about it overall. And I was one that knew it would be a loss to the Cowboys when he retired (unlike some Cowboys fans).

This. I don't feel great about this. I'm sure he will make some clutch 3rd down catches but they need to figure out the TE of the future here.

Wishing the best for Witten, he's a great player but I think the timing was right for his retirement.

If he has a year anywhere close to Gronks this year it will be a huge suceess.

Gronks stat line was **** (I didn't/haven't looked at the post season numbers).

But the catches he made saved games.

75/50 700 and 3 tds.

I guesstimated the numbers off memory but I know I'm close.

RIP ET3 to Dallas wishes....... fine by me. He deserves to get paid, but highest safety in NFL? Hard to command that at 30 and a recent string of injuries.

heard a rumor the guy put his kids in a texas high school. Could just mean he wants some kind of staff job at Texas for all I know though.
