Goff threw so many ugly balls. I mean they looked like shot puts with no spiral action to it. If it wasn't for the Rams defense the Rams would have been slaughtered like the 2014 Seahawks - Broncos Super Bowl.

I was just telling one of my co-workers this morning that if the Cowboys had a competent coaching staff they would have beaten the Rams. I'm glad Jerry is making Garrett play out this season under his final year of his contract.

Cowboy fans should be excited though about this coming season. A lot of good things happened this year especially when Cooper came aboard.

McVay really messed up during the Super Bowl. His inexperience got exposed and he was in over his head. The facial expressions of McVay and Goff during the game confirmed that. Not good when your head coach and QB have a deer in the headlight look all game.

In CJA defense, he did play extremely well during his time in LA...including the playoffs. That being said, Gurley wasn't 100%. You aren't 100% and riding the stationary bike all game and stretching on the sideline.

The Rams need to use this loss as a lesson for future games. Rams weren't ready and they out smarted themselves. Props to Wade Philips and the Rams defense. They put together a great game play and limited the Patriots to 13 points.

In the loss it showed how great the Rams defense is. I mean they carried the team as much as they could since the offense couldn't go crap.

Had McVay and Goff had any semblance of competent football they would have won. They don't know how to adjust like the Patriots can. That was it.

Sports talk radio mentioned how OC McDaniels told Belicheck nothing was working so they installed some new plays right there and ran them.

That is the difference between good teams and great team. Coaching matters in the NFL. Let's hope our new OC Moore can adjust on the fly like that.

Dallas is committed to Dak whether we like it or not. Personally I do not see a better option out there. Stats aside, he's had 3 winning seasons and 2 playoff runs, and playoff victories. I believe he also leads the league in game winning drives over the last 3 years. Now that dipchit Linehan is gone, we can see what Dak can do hopefully.

Makes sense to pay him now, as opposed to later when the market is set even higher.

That does seem like a bit of a bummer to have to commit to Dak for years to come. He's taken Dallas into the playoffs, but he's not at the level that he's going to dominate the league...at least he hasn't shown that talent. With Linehan gone though, I hope it opens up the offense and puts them in positions to be successful.
