Its definitely a different style of offense. Pretty brutal when you consider the rams, Steelers, Vikings, KC, etc can score with ease. Then again, I think Dallas would too if they were more aggressive. I felt they pretty much sat on the lead against NYG.

That's very true. I think after that first qtr, then again after the 2nd half TD Dallas scored, they realized NYG posted little threat and figured, "Why give them any freebies" and kept it very conservative.

Aikman averaged under 200 yards a game. I don't know why y'all are so obsessed with passing yard totals. Romo threw for monster yardage but turned the ball over more. Pick your poison.

I know. One game in '93 (his prime), Aikman went 9-19, for 96 yards. FFS could you imagine that in today's Twitterverse? He'd a never made it past year 2.

And by '99, Aikman was straight up washed up. Only completed 59% on the season.

David Irving back in 2 weeks, Gregory and Woods hopefully in this week. There are rare moments over the years when Dallas' defense is solid, I can't really remember a time when they were this good though.

Dak isn't a threat in the pocket. At all. Zero pocket awareness, and he spooks easily as fuark and cannot handle any kind of pressure.
I don't know how Dak was so poised and cool under pressure his rookie season, but he has absolutely lost it.

I simply cannot get hyped for this season watching Dak play. It isn't about stats either, it's simply watching him during plays. Looks completely lost, scrambles, throws a chit pass.

Loving our defense atm though! And Zeke still looking solid.

I'm really at a loss when it comes to Dak. The QB I saw during his rookie season and the QB I see now are not the same. I was a HUGE Romo homer, but once we got to the point in that season when we beat Stealers and Eagles, even I had to get on board the Dak train. I have no idea what could have changed. Generally there is a regression due to teams having tape on a QB after their first season, but what I'm seeing isn't simply defenses having tape on him. His rookie season he'd stand strong in the pocket under pressure and get the ball off as the pressure was close. Now as soon as the ball snap I swear to god in his head hes' going "oh fuk oh fuk oh fuk".

Last season I saw it too, but I told myself it was because Zeke was missing for so long and maybe he was asked to shoulder too much of the offense, but this year he has no real excuse.
