    Smile Please Read

    BCAA was on sale and thought id give it a try. I give the BCAA 5000 one. But it's still pretty expensive over here so just want to take one serving every workout day.

    If you could take two scoops of whey and one serving of bcaa a day and you had a workout on that dat when would you take it? Out of

    1. First thing in morning
    2. Pre workout
    3. Post workout

    I was thinking

    1. BCaa
    2. Whey
    3. Whey

    Or would it be better to swap one and two around? so bcaa absorb quickly preworkout and then get benefits for the workout which is a pretty heavy workout.

    What is your daily calories and carb/fat/protein intake?

    Average weekly bodyweight change? Current height/weight? Current program and specific goals?

    I don't usually take BCAA, don't see a reason to. If I was to take it, I would take it pre or intra workout when training fasted, especially if cutting.

    was interested in topic, thout id tap in, no bodyweight change/maybe gaining little, 6 foot, daily around calories 3000, probably around 300-400g carb, 200-300g protein, 100-150g fat. Just thought i'd try it as relatively cheap

    I would hold off on the BCAA's until you have the budget to take them.
    But I personally take mine intra-workout, like the above poster.
    And timing for whey protein does not matter as long as you need them to fulfill your macros. I tend to take mine at night~

    It seems as though you are not tracking your nutrition/don't really know what you are getting on a daily basis.

    But, if what you gave is close to correct, you are probably getting enough daily protein (track it to be sure), so, not seeing a reason to spend expensive kind of money on bcaa.

    would first thing in morning or intra workout be best i am gaining weight, calories 3500, 400g carb, 230g protein and 150g fat. Already @koweanguy got Bcaa so might as well use it

    reason i kept saying in the morning first thing, because apparently the muscle is in catabolic stage after sleep 6-8 hours, and i sleep for 10 hours. Wondering if it would be a benefit?? or intra is better way to go?

    Where did you get that 'catabolic' information?

    Do you not understand that BCAA is just three (that's it, only 3) amino acids? And that you are eating a whole food meal for breakfast when you get up in the morning anyway? What is BCAA supposed to even do for you in this scenario?
