Great utilization of area and awesome setup and pieces. On a side note, it's good to see a continuous resurgence in this thread once again.

Nice. Never noticed your cable crossover before and was wondering if you did away with your Legend lat/low (inconceivable!) right up until I saw the second room. Came out good.

I'm pretty happy I pulled the trigger. It's getting more use than expected.

I'll have to make a video, or try to make a 3D/pano shot. It's pretty hard to see everything.

My super small 7ft 6 inch x 7ft 6inch square space I had to work with. Everything shipped in pieces over the last 2 months. Was workin with a 2 car garage before, now i had to make this work. I'm a manlet so I barely fit under the 5 ft 10 beam without hitting my head. Had to get a shorty rackable barbell too, and Rogue seemed to be really rushing manufacturing and shipping because I had numerous issues with some terrible packaging, sharp metal edges and missing parts. It's cramped but overall can't complain.

You've made good use of that small space, and the new setup looks great! I'm working with a super small area as well for lifting, so I understand your pain. I just wish my setup was a nice as yours. Great job!

This is rock solid. Really need to look to take it all in. Space was tight before I moved and I started with Rogue's squat stand and incline bench and added from there. That said you can do it all with that setup. Great use of space, all strong and functional stuff, and certainly you are getting the most out of it. Well done.

The Atlantis was my first choice. It's fantastic but after going back and forth on it, in the end the footprint was just too large after I got the chin/dip in there. Here's a shot of it action not usually seen on the net.

    https://www.********.com/watch/?v=2613541272266655

So the re-manufactured L-F chin/dip assist Finally came last week after waiting 10 weeks at Primo Fitness. They did a nice job. Been using it everyday. A dozen dips and pullups in the AM and then the PM. Easing back into it, haven't done much with regrad to upper body since the gym closed. I'll snap a picture of it soon and post.

And the BIG news. I put some dough down on this. Life long lust. It's usually a 4-6 week wait but because of Covid it's Sept. Test road one the other day. Disc brakes and wider tires are great ! Much more stable and safer feeling then my 20 yr. old Litespeed with rim brakes and skinny tires.. My running has been in the dumper this year because of a bad knee. At almost 68, this could be the new norm. Very excited. A Lotta dough but can't take it with you.

Updated pictures of my home gym setup. I had to downsize considerably. I went from an unfinished 1800 sq ft basement to an oversized single car garage of which I use 14' x 21' of for my gym. Ceilings are just under 8' so no standing overhead movements.
Here's Jim's Gym in its current form.
Dumbbells, I have 5 - 50lb hex dbells in 5lb increments and 60, 70, 80s in 10lb increments. I have 2.5lb PateMates to hit the 5lb increments here. I also have a bent pair 90s and a pair of 100s that don't fit on the rack. I use the IronsMaster quicklock dumbbells with the heavy handle kit and leave them at 90lbs. These go up to 135lbs.

I have the IronMaster Super Pro FID along with the decline and preacher curl attachments. I also have an older BodySolid leg press/hack squat

My power rack is being stored in my shed as I just don't have room for it. This is my IronMaster IM2000 Smith Machine. I have the J hooks and spotter arms so I can still do free weight movements, but aside from rows, I do just about everything in the Smith. I'm thinking of adding a safety squat bar and a swiss bar, so that could change. I also use this as my primary lat pulldown and low row station. It's surprisingly smooth. I have an old BodySolid pulldown/low row that I'm storing in my step son's basement, I don't have the room for it.

This is my newest addition the Inspire FTX functional trainer. I love this piece. It gets used in some way just about every workout.

These are my ParaBody leg curl/extension, old BodySolid seated calf machine, and a TDS GHD that I only use for hyperextensions. Would like to replace that with a 45 degree unit. Inspire makes a nice looking one that is adjustable.

My PowerTec Leverage Gym is one of the most versatile pieces in the gym. I can do just about anything on it. I even use it for donkey raises. The bench doesn't come off like the newer models, but pivots out of the way. That's my only Oly bar in the gym, an old Hampton that works just fine.

Nice! Looks great and some nice equipment. I knew you would love the Inspire FT. I’ve had my FT2 for almost 5 years and still use on every workout . These things are great .So many movements and ranges of motion. Congrats

I was so pleased with improved lighting in the basement where my heavy bags hang I decided to replace the three working lights in my weight area with LED's too.

Thought it was high time I trimmed a couple first floor joists so I could do jerks with my cleans.

I bolstered the cut joists with 2x6's and the adjacent (?) joists with 2x10's. Dining room table is above. Hoping it doesn't come crashing through durning thanksgiving diner eh.

I feel so good about this I might treat myself to a new Eleiko xf bar.

    Very nice!
At age 64, I've exceeded all my prior PRs. Not “over the hill” yet. :)

Been awhile, so I thought I should update things here. (Mostly as a cautionary tale. Don’t be like me! Start out right rather than kluge year after year. But hey, I am what I am.)

I decided my back injury is recovered enough that I wanted to start doing deadlift-type work again, so I got automobile jack stands to do rack pulls.

The bearings were shot on my old nylon pulley, so I upgraded to stainless steel with better bearings and twice the load rating.

And I reupholstered my weight bench. After 45 years, I think it needed it. Here are the before and after pictures. From pretty embarrassing to pretty decent.

I was originally planning on replacing all of the light fixtures in my basement gym because the lighting was so bad. Then I came across some 150-Watt Equivalent LEDs and decided to give those a shot first. At $7/ea they were worth every penny. Plenty of light down there now.

I swapped a few for recessed cans. I came close to hitting bulbs a few times (that I noticed) when I was moving barbells back to the storage rack. I think I spent about $50. Those adjustable winged "garage" LEDs are pretty nice. I put 3 in my garage, and thought about using them for other parts of my basement. They may actually be too bring from some parts.

After waiting two months when it was supposed to be 4-5 weeks to ship, my Marrs Bar arrived on Friday. I knew I wasn't going to have anywhere to conveniently store it, so I now have equipment suspended from the ceiling. It actually works perfectly because I can walk under it without ducking, but I need to stand on a plyo box to get it down. Good thing I can comfortably OHP more than 65 lbs.
