Here's my set up. Basement gym but works for me..Had to cut down Hammer Strength rack to 88" and added band pegs and lower stationary safeties. The only piece I bought new was Inspire FT2 functional trainer.

Embedded the picture for you. How much do you or members in this forum use the casters on the weight tree?

I’m glad I got the casters. I was on the fence, but I think they were only an extra $9. Without them you have to basically unload to move at all. Even with casters, at 700+ lbs it remains stationery unless pushed.

I have the same Rogue weight tree with casters. A CL buy, it came with them. I don't move it so much but as it sit's next to a support column I do rotate it depending on where I am loading/unloading plates.

I figured that the moving of the weight tree isnt use as much during an actual workout. I guess its just a convenience if and when you want to relocate things.

Wow, impressed with the whole setup and also impressed with the quality and finish of those plates! When I was on the market and had to choose between ivanko revolvers and legacy York plates i went with the ivankos even if they were selling for 2+ times more money than the Yorks. At that time a lot of people had bad reviews on them but from your picture the quality looks to be close from the ivankos! How do you like them? Could you take more close up pictures? May be good to have an in depth review with pictures for anyone on the fence to buy some quality plates

I’ll try to get some more detailed pictures up in the next couple of days. Honestly, the quality control is somewhat hit or miss. Some of the plates are near perfect while others are closer to sports store quality in terms of the fit and finish.

Despite the imperfections, I am happy with them overall. I wanted “traditional” black cast iron plates and they fit the bill. I generally try not to fixate on minor imperfections (to the extent that I can help it) of gear that is meant to be used and occasionally abused.

It was between York and the Rogue Machined plates. Based on the pictures I’ve seen it looks like the quality control is better on the Rogue plates, but I didn’t care for gray. Given that the weight tolerances were the same it basically came down to my preference regarding the aesthetics. I do love the look of the plates on a loaded barbell.

I've not posted in a while, but did some reorganization of my gym over the holidays. Trying to get a bit more space to move around in as I only have a single garage space to use. I'm hoping the two photos have attached properly - if so I'll add some more.

A few more photos. I'm very impressed with the space and equipment some people on here have for their gyms - and I'd be curious if anyone has any ideas of how I could improve the gym given the limited space I have. The latest additions are the Rogue wall hangers in the last two photos to help de-clutter and free up floor space.

I own some of the Rogues (backup to my revolvers and Rogue bumpers). Probably equivalent to your description from the York. I'll also say that the "grey" has changed materially between batches on the Rogue plates. They are functional and solid but that's it.

BTW - nice stacks of 10s there. No shortage whatsoever. DAMN!

Looks like a damn fine space to me.

Is your GPRR378 bolted to that platform? Min walks on rubber some, pretty sure I'd have to chase it on wood.

It's not bolted down - I have to baby the weight back into the rack on squats to prevent it moving, but its not too bad. That said, I should bolt it down - maybe now's the time....

I have the same thoughts on the York Legacy plates. I thought they might replace my revolvers b/c they were accurate and MUCH cheaper, but the small sample I bought a few months ago of them were pretty rough as far as paint quality goes. They were VERY accurate though. I still think they're excellent plates for the money. Their normal price isn't bad, but I've seen them go on sale (direct from York's website) for 25% off their normal price, which is phenomenal for a plate that accurate & good looking.

No. That’s a Spud, Inc. handle. It’s made from a Texas Power Bar and has full length sleeves.
