It's actually not too bad. There's a little more room than the pictures make it out to be.IMG_0127.jpg

Repped back.
I liked them so much I made four more for the front part of the garage where the car and tools sit. The cool thing about them is that they actually also serve as the code-required metal enclosure where the connections to the power source are made. I also grounded each fixture by securing the ground wire to the piping for safety.trainingwithryan.substack.com

Thanks!
I am not a contractor, I just do plenty of research and am very handy naturally.
Next up is HVAC and insulation. Big jobs. Since I know you like the exposed wood, I'll let you know I'm going to leave the main vertical posts exposed and fill insulation and wall between them. I want this place looking NICE.trainingwithryan.substack.com

Yeah, my wood shop is bigger than my gym, so definitely a fan. And no worries on your gym not looking nice. It's an amazing space and you've done a great job so far.
Hope it's OK to ask about construction details on this thread, because I'm curious. Insulation is obviously a good thing since Minnesota gets both cold and hot, and I'm wondering a little about your insulation plan. With metal walls, do you have to worry about condensation issues if you install fiberglass, rock wool, or cellulose without a moisture barrier?
Also, is your roof glass or plastic, or is it just the lighting in the picture that makes it look translucent?

Just placed my order for a belt squat machine with Beast Metals Strength & Conditioning Equipment!
Great customer service from Ralph, custom coloring, and a price that can't be beat! I went with neon green and dark grey to make it pop in the gym.
I'm looking forward to putting this machine to good use for myself and anyone else that gets a lift in at the GST Home Base.

Hello from South Carolina, I just upgraded my Dick's Sporting goods half rack, bench and bar after doing a lot of online research. My Gym also doubles as a guest room / Man cave and being that it is 100+ in the summer I decided not to setup in my garage.
I now have a Titan X3 flatfoot rack, Titan flat bench and have a FringeSport Wonderbar arriving today. Looking forward to using the new equipment with my son as soon as our house guests return home after this Hurricane passes. Just have to decide on a FID bench now.
