I had this today. My god i could drink this all day long. every day. Icy Blue Raspberry was better than cordial.
Question. It says it is WPI with 20g of protein. I assume that it is an EAA blend correct? of about 5g which will have the same amount of Essential Amino Acids that a ~20g scoop would have? So it is 5g of protein equivilant to 20g?
I mean if it was WPI. Then how come I can't find WPI in this flavour? unless its an EAA blend. All I find is the normal WPC flacours.

Its 20g of whey protein isolate. Not an EAA blend of any kind. RTD (ready to drink’s) are commonly flavored in fruits not the rich flavors a protein powder will be flavored like chocolate, vanilla etc.

"whole protein equivalent of 25g"
The word 'equivalent' there is pretty significant, as is the fact that that statement is not in the nutrition facts label.
The ON clearly shows the protein amount straight up, not equivalent, and in the nutrition facts box.
I see "Protein 20g" listed in the nutrition facts box of Optimum Protein Water. Hence, it has 20g of protein.

ON Protein Water Label and it uses the WPI Whey Protein Isolate which is a source of protein dissolved in water so it is as Farley said not an equiv or just EAAs it is the full source of protein

Ya they fully dissolve and those ISOPures also come in glass bottles as an RTD as well but the powder is the exact same thing just in the powder form you mix it yourself into water
Here is a pic of Isopure and those ON RTD's next to one another I had picked up while back the powder mixes up just as clear as those its the same powder they use in the RTD
The nutrition label for the ON I believe is on the cardboard case as when you buy them non-individual they are like in a 12 pack case the label I believe is on that the ISOpure is on both the case and each bottle if I am not mistaken tho but the same company owns both Optimum Nutrition and Natures Best which is Glanbia-- Microwaves everyday crew --

LOL. The fact that it claims .02 calories per serving when the lead three aminos of the prop blend are leucine, isoleucine and valine and BCAAs = 6 calories per gram.
Then you look at the ingredients and see sucralose as the largest ingredient by volume....smh
WPI is protein OP and not an amino blend. The flavor profiles that companies use can be anything they want. It isn't just magic RTD flavoring."I'm pretty sure your wrong, but care to elaborate..."

Amino acids not being counted towards calories (that's the way it is, they aren't counted, even though they do have calories of course) is rather different than wondering if a nutrition facts of 20g protein means there are 20g of protein.
I guess we need to define "correct" lol. Amino acids' calories aren't counted on the label. That is the current "correct" way to label it, even though we do know that amino acids have calories

You're correct. I misread that Vaughn. Still, my point was that the claim that calories were at .02 per serving was BS.
Obviously, the label here is not an Australian label since it's missing the calories and I think it's great that they are required to note the calories in free-form aminos on your labels. But it's not that this label is incorrect, but that it takes advantage of the laws, but really, it's not protein, but amino acids. It's not the same regardless of your country, amino breakdowns on protein powder should match the content of the protein macro fairly closely. If it doesn't, it's probably spiked."I'm pretty sure your wrong, but care to elaborate..."
