Gains from yesterday evening are huge. Caught the falling knife in LTC/ETH and it worked out. XRP is still a question to me. I sold. Might buy back in to hodl for whatever speculation coinbase is putting out about trading alts.

Definitely the very beginning, look at the market cap. It's still the wild west in crypto, like you said there will be a shake out at some point and the quality real world useful cryptos will survive and thrive. Imagine what it'll be like when there's 15-20 that are fully fleshed out/operational and being used widespread in a bunch of different industries and the total market cap is measured in the trillions...

Agree it's still the wild west. If you're right, we've still got time to pan that gold before it's better to be Mr Levi, selling gold panning gear to all the panners.

XRP is still up from earlier this week. So in reality anyone who bought in early this week is still up a good bit.

Good XLM, good. Proving itself so far although huge no volume confirmation here, so beware of a fakeout to the upside even though it has some 15 min closes above the resistance line. Obviously volume can pickup at any time so keep an eye on it!
Still at the mercy of a BTC breakout rally but so far, so good.

I'm a little gun shy with BTC right now. Man it moves fast and alts dump equally as fast.

Did you watch that buy wall come down last night? What's your thoughts there? I also found it really strange how quickly it came back down. Do you think there is some price suppression/manipulation going on?

Pretty much every crypto currency forum, reddit, thread, etc. nowadays is chit. Tbh it was even chit a few months ago. Lots of people shilling the coins they own. I still use reddit mostly for the memes and to see what everyone’s buying so I can stay away from it

Some whale or more than likely wall street investors had a sell wall (1,100 bitcoin he was selling ($18 million USDs) for $17,250 to try and keep the price from going up past that point. Buyers just kept buying and eventually he pulled his order and the "sell wall" came down.

but if he has 1100 btc, how does he profit from the price not moving past that point? I mean, a 5% increase is worth almost 1 million $ for him.

Exactly. It was a move to try to keep the price below $17,250. If it weren't, it wouldn't be there because all signs pointed towards a breakout.

I believe they are trend lines. The rainbow on the right is the FIB which shows you the support levels. The RSI is how overbought or oversold it is and I believe the MACD is also similar. I'm no expert so correct me if I"m wrong.

Yes if you click on Bittrex new registration it just gives an error message. No message on their website but their twitter says they turned off new registrations "for a DB upgrade due to a large spike in new user sign ups."

Just registered for Binance and don't like the user interface at all and feel sketchy about it being a Chinese exchange. Will switch to Bittrex once I can.

So far Gemini has the cleanest user interface I've seen. Not much info but enough for me and very pleasant to work with. I'm just holding so most of the trading graphs etc are TMI for me anyway.

Hey guys, I bought a $150 bucks (I know poverty status, but just starting out) worth of BTC on 12/14 at 1 AM to convert into Ripple from Coinbase but I still have not gotten the BTC in my account. Still says pending. Used my CC and there hasn't been a charge on it either. WTF is taking it so long? Do BTC transactions take this long to process? Or should I contact Coinbase for it and tell them what's up?

Make a binance account. You dont even have to upload verification documents. Deposit ETH into binance wallet from gdax/coinbase (takes minutes). Was able to do that within 30 minutes

Nah I'm pretty heavy into the CB big 3. I an going to buy my first alt over the next couple days. Basically gathering my horses that are in the race for 4th coinbase coin.
