    Question Rest in a Week

Hello everyone. I have a question. I'm kind of a Mesomorph, Weight:60 kg around 132 pounds 1,74 cm and i workout for 30 minutes+ 6 days a week. Now i know 30 minutes is not a big deal but thats not the point here. Are my gains going to "shrink" because of that one day i take off or does it have benefits. If so what are they? thanks

Rest and nutrition are just as important as goal specific exercising.
Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.

A professionally designed novice weight program will include off/rest days. These rest days are a part of the program because your body need rest to grow and recover. Stop trying to "do your own thing" and getting sub-optimal gains.

    Rest is important.

I would question how much training you're able to properly do in 30mins. I can stretch, do my warmup, and maybe get 1-2 exercises in during the first 30mins in the gym. I do not feel adequately trained after 2 exercises and a warmup.
Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

You will not lose muscle from taking one day, two days, or even three days off from the gym. Rest is essential both mentally and physically.

Good advice here OP. You're also not a mesomorph. ****totypes are bunk. If they weren't you'd be a ectomorph. If you don't want to lose your gains, you'll need to hammer out your diet. Frankly, you're not 4% body fat right now either. If you want to hit your 205lb goal, you'll need to eat a boatload more and not worry about a day off here and there.

I do 10 sets of 10 push ups in like 10 minutes, i do bench press but that doesnt take more than 5 minutes, ab workout around 10 minutes and bicep each 30 times lift at least 4kg. I didnt count the warmup

That's not much, and shouldn't be all that physically taxing.

In that case, I'm definitely going with this:

This OP. Make sure your body is getting the proper rest it needs.

Taking a few days off a week can be great for the body.
