Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Put on 6lbs in a week, after a long period of binging and drinking. Alot is probably water weight + glyocogen stores replenished but still sad to see.

I'm having a hard time reaching my calorie maintenance on clean diet days, i mean lately it's been really easy for me to eat on a 20% or even greater deficit since i feel sated fairly quick, but i don't want to lose that much lean body mass so i keep eating throughout the day till a hit a moderate deficit with a proper ratio of macros. However, when it comes to weekends (and cheating like a madman) it's just too easy eat on huge surplus of crap food.
And maybe that's jeopardizing all my hard work during the clean days... anyway, even with the shortcomings, i'm having lots of fun learning on nutrition and how to lift on compound movements.Lifting since Jan 2018

I second visiting Liverpool :-D
You know what you should do? But some Quest protein crisps (chips). I have tried 3 flavours: cheddar and sour cream (by far the nicest), salt and vinegar (not bad either) and plain sea salt (need I say more)
It's a 3-fold benefit - 1) they have 20g of protein per bag, 2) only about 120cals per bag (so basically nutrition-wise they are the equivalent of a protein shake, but somehow in a crisp form), and 3) they cost like £1 a bag - so no way on earth are you eating 7 bags in one day"Through Calorie-counting all things are possible" : Phil 19:26

It seems that I might have to report weight gain tomorrow. I does not really surprise me, because I knew that it could happen due to what I did last Friday. Yesterday my weight was down to 110,3 kg where as on Monday it was 111,6kg. I'm hoping that there is still last moment whoosh coming up. Sometimes that happens after going to the gym.

Not sure how my weigh in is going to go tomorrow. Last 3 days was 150.5-150.9, but today was 152.2. No cheat days or mistakes.
Think it's because my sleep schedule is all crazy again. Happened last challenge when I had a week of weight gain. I got called into work on Monday night and working my regular shift Tuesday morning. So now all week I've been sleeping right after work, getting up 11PM-1AM working out and then staying up. Going to try and force myself to stay up all day today and get a good nights sleep tonight and hopefully have a good weigh in tomorrow.
