Yeah i bet. 15k steps yikes.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

    Hi guys
I'm looking for some direction and tips for weight loss. I was wanting to post some starting photos and stats but not sure if I'm in the right part of the forums to do so? Looking for some motivation to keep me on track for my goals with some like minded people!
    Peace!

Crazy week, I've been losing weight super fast which is not good for lbm, so i had a little surplus yesterday, hell I'm not even doing cardio, just compound exercises 4 or 5 times a week.

Definitely ending the week around 193 or so.

    Good luck to everyone!

Not sure what happened, but suddenly dropped to 137.5 pounds yesterday. Wrote it off as just a fluke, but today I weighed 138 even after forgetting to weigh in and drinking a diet coke first.

Seems this is my new weight level. Guess I should be happy, but kind of annoying. I needed to slow my weight loss and was planning on adding a few hundred calories to diet, but trendweight was showing my weight loss was slowing anyways. Went from showing a 1.8lb/week loss to 1.3lb/week loss so I left my calories alone. Then boom last 3 weighs-ins has pushed it back up to 1.7lb/week and I've lost more weight than I should have...

Looks like I'll definitely be done cutting after this thread ends though since I don't think I should go another another 2 months losing weight. I'm down about 40 pounds total since I started back in September. Finally about to start my first bulking phase which I'm pretty excited about. I had good strength gains while cutting, but I hit a brick wall about a month ago with all my lifts and just been maintaining since then and unable to bust past the wall. Hard to push myself to lift when I'm not seeing any gains.

EDIT: Bet I know what it was, was addicted to chili last week, ate it like 6 days in a row and I like salt on my chili. Ran out of beef this week so been eating other things. Bet all that salt was making me hold water and masking my weight loss.

Well my goal was 137 to just pick a number (that was my goal at 177 which if I lose pure fat would have put me at 15% BF). But im at that now and still have quite a bit of fat. Thinking of losing a few more pounds. Maybe 130-131.

I'm a short guy (5'3-5'4) so it's not THAT low of a weight for me.

Was kind of hoping I could get to a really low BF% then bulk into some abs lol as rdiculous as that sounds. Pretty sure it's going to take a bulk then another cut for me to gets abs though.

Oh man, late check in. Knew I was forgetting something.
Lost 2.5 lbs last week down to 174.
I weigh in tomorrow and this is probably the best week in terms of calorie intake for months. Best week in the gym since before christmas as well (I'm still mostly doing cardio atm because of my training, really do need to find time to get back into some sort of lifting routine, even if not to gain any muscle but try to retain what I've got). Ran 2 hours yesterday for the first time since october!

Hope everyone's havin a good week
    Getting back into it!

    Start Weight (2015): 312 lbs
    Lowest Weight (2018): 168 lbs
    Current Weight: 250 lbs
    Goal Weight: 161 lbs

yeah I could see that since I was at 130 at 5'6 true height with low leg mass due to my cerebral palsy.

I'm getting real close to being under 300, and it's a little scary. Last time I remember being under 300 my 17 year old daughter was a toddler.
I can't really put into words why it's scaring me. The only part I can rationalize is that I don't want to get under 300 and then go back up over it.
I'm just going to keep pushing. 300 is only a number, and it's a long way from my goal.

I weighed myself to see how im doing and somehow im down to 151.6.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Back to nights these 3 days- scale was friendly today, but I am sure flipping to night mode will screw with it lol. Nice work Stingray.

It was a bit nerve-racking drive to work today. It was snowing pretty heavily and on the highway the visibility got really bad for a moment. Like bad enough that I could not see the tail lights of the car driving in front of me. That lasted only like 5 minutes and after that the visibility got better and I made it to work without issues, but man I hate driving in these kind of conditions.

My weight this morning was same as yesterday. We'll see what the official weigh in tomorrow says. I'm going to go to the gym to do leg workout and hope that it gives me last moment swoosh.

So that is something like 16 lbs in eight weeks. I admire the discipline you've showed in this challenge. At this pace you'll reach your goal weight in no time.

For me it varies. I used to weigh myself daily, but lately I've been weighing myself 2-3 times a week. I think once per week is what most people recommend. Do what feels best for you.
