I’m 15 and recently injured my back after a mix of heavy deadlifting ( which felt amazing) and having soccer practice the next day . I twisted in a weird way, right to left and my lower back had a huge muscle spasm and I couldn’t stand. After about 5 minutes I was okay and could stand pretty well, but couldn’t add any torsion with my upper or lower body. That was a month ago. Yesteraday after going to soccer practice I did the exact same thing and I’m back to acute muscle spasms. My parents won’t pay for physiotherapy, and they won’t let me skip soccer to heal because they “payed too much” for my soccer. They tell me that I am inactive and that my lack of exercise and too much muscle mass is making me prone to injury. At this point I have no idea what to do. This is an endless cycle of painless weeks with my back not healing and 3 muscle relaxants not helping at all.

Sit your parents down and talk to them. Neglecting such a thing could lead to something a lot worse.
