    Unhappy Advice on calorie consumption

    Hey guys,

    Stats:
    5'7"
    125lbs
    9/10% bf
    Bench: 150 3x6
    DL: 265 3x6
    ATGS: 210 3x6

    I have been clean bulking for the last two months on 2450cals and for the first month I gained 1.5lbs and my strength improved added 10-20lbs on my big lifts, I took 1 week break because of an exertion headache eating at 2100cals still eating my fat n protein macros. But after the 1 week break I tracked my 7 day weight average and lost 2lbs (was guessing it was due to my caloric change), I assumed it would come back after a week or so (it didn't). I tracked my 7 day average again for the last week eating at 2500 cals but my weight just stayed the same (edited), I was wondering if that would that could be affecting my metabolism causing my caloric consumption to be much higher than I actually thought? It does suppress my appetite but I have no troubles getting the calories in. I eat about 1250cals a meal x2 a day. I'm not really that active, I spend most of my time studying and gym 5 days a week each session about 1hr. Since I'm only 125lbs I thought 2500cal was already high (idk if I should increase it anymore), been lifting for about a year my strength is always going up (continually overloading) but can't seem to put on that weight. Please advice.

    We are not allowed to even mention medications here so you should edit your post and delete that. That said, that medication should not affect your metabolism in any way.

    You just need to eat more. If you are getting stronger the size increases will eventually come but you can definitely increase to 2750 and see what happens. If you start gaining too quickly you can always back off.
