    Question Upper body question

How many times should someone (female) work back? i dont want my back to widen so bad. I tend to work back muscles like 3 times a week is it too much? should i break it down to once a week?

I depends. For one, are you eating at a caloric surplus? If not, your back is not going to grow regardless of training frequency.

Also, when you say that you 'work your back muscles three times a week' that doesn't give us too much information. Does that mean that you have three back focused workouts a week? Are you doing three upper body sessions where the back gets a decent amount of attention or are you training total body three times a week and tapping the back with one or two movements per session?

If you let us know what your training split looks like you might be able to get some helpful suggestions.

Your back won't "widen so bad". Nor will any other part of your body for that matter.
