Why? Genetically modified foods have not only been shown to pose no issues to humans, but they can be beneficial in improving shelf life, harvest size, and the ability of many plants to resist pests. They can be, and are, a great thing.Originally Posted by Bladerunner1811

GMOs aren't bad. They just aren't.
I think this is an appropriate time to post the meme of Morgan Freeman pointing his finger up and saying, "He's right, you know." There is zero peer-reviewed replicable scientific evidence from a verifiable, reliable source that demonstrates that GMOs pose any threat to humans whatsoever. In fact, they demonstrate the opposite. The "Why are GMOs Bad?" video by SciShow on YouTube cites over 20 sources discrediting any claims that GMOs are intrinsically bad for humans in its video description.Originally Posted by gbullock32

Agreed with the above. GMOs are wonderful in many ways and I have never come across any inherent risks.

Europe has always been anti ...I think only Spain has GM crop planted ...of course GM animal food is imported and fed to non gm livestock so there are no non gm regions at all
