I got off keto 5 weeks ago after a 20 pound cut. I gained a initial 4 pounds of water intake. I know people say you should reintroduce carbs after keto, but I said screw it. Once I started eating high carbs I dropped my fat and it worked out perfectly. I have been slowly gaining weight after 5 weeks of a clean bulk and my muscles are much more thick and bigger after getting off keto. To be honest, I am never doing keto diet again. Doing this high carb diet is by far better than a low carb diet for my body.I lost a lot of strength and muscle while on keto along with fat, but on a high carb diet I am building lean muscle with very little fat gains.
