    Training After an Injury

    Good Day

I experience an arm injury and wasnt unable to lift weight for about 6 months. I am just starting to come around but I notice that my bicep muscle mass has decreased. I am 46 years old and by no mean any Arnold but I had muscle. My question is with training, protein and creatine and so on is it possible to build it back at my age.

    Thank You

You're never too old to build muscle as long as you're eating enough to support growth and progressing your lifts.
Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

No. Protein is just 1 of 3 macro nutrients. Your overall calorie intake determines weight gain or weight loss.
    Surplus of calories = gain
    Calorie deficit = loss
Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

Yes - your muscle experienced atrophy (muscle loss), you need to give it a good dose of hypertrophy (muscle gain). Age is just a number.....

Hope that the recovery went well.

As far as gaining it back, you definitely can. You will need to ensure that you are training hard and getting all the calories that your body requires to gain size/mass.

Have you looked in the nutrition section to determine roughly the amount of calories that you should be consuming?

Of course you can gain it all back and even gain some more. In the meantime you can still workout legs and do some conditioning work like running.

Definitely possible, take it very easy at first or you may re injure yourself. Make sure to stretch properly too.
