    When should you start thinking/worrying about abs (srs)?

    At 15 y/o now, i can honestly say prolly in the skinnyfat zone but not sure for sure cuz i have no access to calipers, so i just use online measures. Estimates say im around 5%-9% bf, yet still don’t see abs. I know dieting and trying to get cut at a young age can be very bad for growth and development over all all over. Knowing this, as someone who lifts and is into bodybuilding, id like to have visible abs at some point in time. Often, school prevents me from going to gym, so over time, i average around 0-2 times a week not ideal for building muscle. While i know i should be eating more, i dont want to get on dat dere dreamer bulk cuz of how sedentary i am being. i feel like if i eat a lot, it will make me fat, but if i dont eaty, i wont grow right. At what age can i stop thinking that dieting will affect my growing so that i can actually get shredded?

    cool story bro. didnt ask. look, im not even defending it tho. i used like 10 different sites that use body measurements (elbow breadth, neck, hips, waist, etc.) and 5-9 was about the general consensus, so i dunno. anyways, i mean i feel like it would be healthier if i just ate normally, but it just seems to me that if i kept eating i would just become an even worse/more skinnyfat or just a plain old fatass. wut do?

    I understand your desire for abs, dude. But at 15 years old, take advantage of the testosterone starting to surge through your body and try to put on some muscle. The added muscle will make (eventual) abs more impressive. Don't try to cut/restrict calories while you have a prime opportunity to GROW.

    5'6" srs. 129 lbs. yeah i can agree and admit im a fukkin lightweight. problem is, i have been this same height since around 13. not much growth in 2 years. should i be going wtf? or should i keep eating and wait. as i said, busy schedule and all that makes it so i barely go gymming until the summer (thats a 9-10 month hiatus). i feel like if i eat more, ill just end up being a skinnyfat ****. right now, im still cruising off of the few gains i made the past summer, so im around twink/ottermode/swimmer, which i would rather keep than risk skinny fat...wut do? like i know for a fact im pretty lean because i have striations on my pecs, serratus, delts, but when i pinch my back it feels a bit more than 1cm between my fingers...
