Going from 4 to 6 post power rack. 24" or 36"?

I currently have a Titan T-3 36" Deep power rack. It is a PITA having the plate storage on the back posts as they get in the way sometimes when I have the side safeties up. I was looking to get the extension for my rack, but should I get the 24" or the 36"? I was thinking 24" just to have extra stability since my rack isn't bolted down and for the extra room for plate storage. Then I was thinking, why not get the 36" so I basically have two power racks and can have friends lift on the other side (some are taller than me and saves time constantly changing the weights). What do you guys think? What are the benefits of having the bigger extension?

What's your main priority, creating a double rack or more convenient plate storage?.

Plates stored on the working portion of the rack are going to get in the way at some point, I'd want to use the rear posts as a dedicated plate storage area. You can always create another workout station at the front of the rack by adding a pair of spotter arms and j hooks.

Agree with this. If you have plates on it, don't lift in that section so get the smaller option. I have a spare set of safeties for out front along with J cups.

Best option. I would do this with the 24" addition. I would prefer 16" - 18" rather than 24" but IMO, 24" is the best choice with what Titan offers.
Now OK for Sig line to be a novel

I might buy that new x2 12 inch entension and order the weight storage pegs or just drill out a couple pieces of plywood to build spacers to make your current plate holders fit.
