Mr.Robot Season 3 - Anyone watching? (Possible spoilers)

I know the misc hasn't showed a big interest in the last two seasons but for those that did...

The new season started this week, just caught episode 1 on Amazon. I love it and it can do no wrong in my eyes, looking juicy and like it may take a sci fi twist which I don't mind if they handle it with the same high quality as past revelations.

Also, enjoying the Elliot/Mr.Robot split so far.

They over complicated season 2, first episode of season 3 seems to be correcting those mistakes. Honestly I lost track of what his motivate even was from season 1. Bobby Cannavale is it this season GOAT actor.

Gutted about Joanna's death, it seemed so nonsensical after they built her up into this sociopathic femme fatal... Then dropped her like she was nothing. Hoping that Esmail ties it altogether nicely in later eps. The brain autopsy really made my toes curl but I'm guessing it was to prove the death was real and end any speculation. Unsure about the direction of the show and it still keeps me on the end of my seat but I do hope we get more answers this season and it doesn't wind up like Lost.

I can't watch that show. I want to but then my own anxiety and depression kicks in lol, srs. It's ****ing annoying, i'll just be sitting there and then BOOM anxiety. Everyone on that show has mental issues. And i don't like that i can relate with them

I thought the first 3 or so episodes in S1 were meh, then it got really good the next 4-5 episodes then it went to absolute garbage there after.

I hate the fact that they use him being a schizo as a cop out to make whatever story or scenario they want, that is lazy af. Create a crazy or impossible scenario then when hes about to get ****ed he wakes up and realizes that it wasn’t actually him doing it.

S2 was quite frustrating but I still found it pretty gripping. I'm an eternal optimist though, just hope it doesn't wind up being an anti climax like Lost.

I know what you mean, it is a kinda stressy show. I don't usually watch dramas tbh and some scenes are a bit too much for me but its like a puzzle and I like stuff that needs figuring out. So alas, I tune in everytime no matter what.

I know what you're saying but it;s kinda interesting that it is really him (just not consciously - it's one of his alts). I thought this season they're visually making it more understandable how the alters work.

Oh damn, I'm hoping this season will give more answers. S2 was a bit confusing and I think possibly there was a lot of filler stuff. Afterall, Esmail wrote it as a 90 minute screenplay and now it's potentially a 5 season show. I agree it's worth sticking with.

Yeah, do you think it's pretty accurate? I read a thread on reddit (don't judge me) that said it was pretty tight in terms of the hacking plots/terminology.

I'm pretty sure although he uses Linux a lot and I don't know a thing about that. The terminology he uses for various other things he does is accurate.

Ho lee fuk, that scene was tense as fuk. S3 fell off a bit but was still joocy, esp the Tom Hardy bits. S4 looks like pure dynamite. Phucking can't wait for it to air.
