How is Verlander a bad contract? He is going to get paid 20 million annually for the next two seasons after the Tigers took on 16 million. A 3rd season vests if he finishes in the top 5 for the cy young voting in 2019. That season thus would be a bargain...Originally Posted by awwchit2

We got an all new season here so past performance is not an indication of future results. Cleveland is the hottest team so that is a no brainer. As for the National league, no one has super momentum. Nat's are banged up in many spots, the doyers cooled, Arizona has the doyers number and the Cubs have experience. Going to see the Nat's Friday, so I will report back.
