Best preworkout or similar for a caffeine sensitive person?

Recently getting back into weight lifting and as I'm highly caffeine sensitive, I'm looking for a good preworkout supplement without all the caffeine. Anything over 250mg caffeine gives me jitters, rapid heartbeat, sleep troubles, breathing issues etc. Any suggestions? Or what's a good meal or a drink to consume in place of a preworkout?

    Thanks much.

Why would you drink coffee during training? Drink it before you hit the gym man.

I don't know how long the effects of coffee last. But yeah, sounds good since I can't take preworkout, I'll down a small coffee 20-30 min prior to training.

I'm not overly sensitive to caffeine, but I have cut back on my intake quite a bit after I finished college. I typically take half a scoop of Axis Labs Rainmaker with a scoop of Hemodraulix powder for some extra pump.

Another non stimulant product is Opus by Magnum!

Buy a non-stim like Big No1se, Hemavol/Hemavol2, White Pipes, ect... then just add in a caffeine pill at 100mg or so. Would be the easiest.

How do you handle black tea? It naturally contains L-theanine which may help take the edge off caffeine. You could buy it in bulk and take it with your pre

Probably wouldn't help with sleep troubles tho

    Sleep > carbs > coffee

I recommend a banana and/or a cup of coffee if you truly need it.
The power of carbs compels me!

Yeah, I'll probably end up going this route mainly because 1) I don't want preworkout supps or even my evening coffee ****ing with my sleep and recovery and 2) Chugging some carbs like a banana or two preworkout would be way cheaper than shelling money on overpriced preworkout supplements that may mess with my sleep.

A good espresso typically has less than 100 mg caffeine.

Pre workout supplements in general are a waste of money because it's usually cheaper to buy the best ingredients yourself.

If you're looking for extra energy that may help performance: citrulline malate and beta alanine (especially in higher rep ranges) can help.

Personally I get a boost from vitamin B complex and coconut oil (MCTs) but this depends on the person.
