Lightbulb Track Conditioning at Planet Fitness

Basically I'm doing joining my schools track and field team this year. I plan on sprinting, most likely the 200m. Note, Planet Fitness is my ONLY option for another gym right now, so I know you guys think it's a bad gym, but it's all I have at the moment.

I wanna be more than ready and start conditioning as soon as possible. The season starts in November so I over a month to start up. I have the actual track exercises ready, but I'd like to know what weight training I can be doing to get ready. Like bench press, curls, etc.

If anyone could help, that'd be awesome, thanks!

how does your school not have a gym? if you're gonna lift do it there for starters
    40: 4.3s
    400m: 50.4s
    800m: 1:58.2s

Pro-Tip: always double check for errors when you post on forums.

My school doesn't have a lot of things to be honest, a gym/weight room being one of them. This is the first year they're even doing track.

Just follow a good beginner strength program (Starting Strength, etc). Lower body strength gains are your friend. As you gain experience you can add in power work and olympic lifting for preseason lifting but first you need to get strong.
