Conservatives are the only thing stopping us from turning into a 3rd world country brah... I know the media just tells you all day that conservative=racist and nothing more but there's a lot more to it than that.

The point of conservatism is to prevent the spread of bad ideas. The reason we uphold tradition is because we understand that we are not intelligent enough to know the consequences of most actions, and therefore, unless there is definite evidence in favor of a new course, we reject it.
If everyone was conservative, there would be no need for conservatism. Conservatism is not a utopian ideology, it is one forged in reaction to the "mood swings of humanity".
It shouldn't be surprising that most innovators are liberal, because liberals are psychologically open to more experiences. The issue is that a society based on always chasing the new leads to chaos. You need a large number of people dedicated to holding down the old order. In the words of Buckley, to stand on the rooftops and shout NO!.When all that says 'it is good' has been debunked, what says 'I want' remains.

It's based on the fact that the Republican Party abolished slavery and the Democrat Party pushed for the Jim Crow Laws afterwards.
The question is very difficult to answer because "conservative" needs to be defined.
1) Is it meant as the Republican Party of today or the original Republican Party of the past? Key players in the political party also influence policies and decisions.
2) Would it be conservatives as US-based conservatives or general political/social conservatives (since there is a cultural and social difference between US conservatism and non-US conservatism)?

This helps explain how both parties changed after the Civil War.
https://www.livescience.com/34241-de...platforms.html
Democrats seized upon a way of ingratiating themselves to western voters: Republican federal expansions in the 1860s and 1870s had turned out favorable to big businesses based in the northeast, such as banks, railroads and manufacturers, while small-time farmers like those who had gone west received very little. Both parties tried to exploit the discontent this generated, by promising the little guy some of the federal largesse that had hitherto gone to the business sector. From this point on, Democrats stuck with this stance — favoring federally funded social programs and benefits — while Republicans were gradually driven to the counterposition of hands-off government.
From a business perspective, Rauchway pointed out, the loyalties of the parties did not really switch. "Although the rhetoric and to a degree the policies of the parties do switch places," he wrote, "their core supporters don't — which is to say, the Republicans remain, throughout, the party of bigger businesses; it's just that in the earlier era bigger businesses want bigger government and in the later era they don't."
In other words, earlier on, businesses needed things that only a bigger government could provide, such as infrastructure development, a currency and tariffs. Once these things were in place, a small, hands-off government became better for business.

If you would have stuck to the foundational principles in which your nation was founded on i.e Classical English liberalism, small central gov, bigger state power, low taxation, high levels of individual freedom.... I'm pretty sure you'd all be in a better place.
What was known as classical liberalism, is basically now seen as being conservatism. Just lol at how far astray we have gone.

I bring it up because you claim that CEO's are overpaid, and the employees beneath them are underpaid. Of course you won't redistribute "your" wealth, if you ever become one, just like every other liberal hypocrite, it's to be expected.
You also bitch and moan about how there's too many white CEO'S, so what you should do, is reject the position, and let a person of color take your spot.Last edited by Dave22reborn; 09-21-2017 at 11:21 AM.

I can only answer for myself but that's a difficult question. I do not think people who have values that help others and our country. All that is great and how I live my life. Hence why I believe CEOs should be paid less and workers more, why all races are and should be treated equally, etc.
I do think people who believe there's a guy in the sky who will punish us when we die if we don't worship him are a little backwards.Early AM workout crew.
Holy crap dude, Satan's huge crew.
