Strength building tips? I'm looking to train for a career in construction/manual labor and I have 6 months to physically prepare. I have no interest in definition or bulk I'm just looking to be as strong and as stable as possible to prevent injuries on the job (and keep up with the boys). What can you reccomend for a basic beginner? Currently on cutting diet- can I train Strength while cutting? If not should I add calories in the form of carbs or wot?

You can at the beginning, but eventually, your progress will plateau out.
I would start with a simple barbell routine, like Fierce 5 or Starting Strength. I would also add in loaded carries, farmer's walks, waiters walks, etc.You can't help the hopeless.
