Pumpkin flavored proteins are one of my favorite flavors to do things with in the
kitchen and so far I'm liking this flavor more in recipes than in shakes.

Combination of flavors, texture, and just overall flavor was a WIN! also
My Protein Oat Powder unflavored has been a GREAT pick up and has
worked great in recipes and it's been a good way to add a few extra
healthy calories to my afternoon shake while I try putting on some of
my size that I lost and slowly have been regaining it.

Ingredients
1- 3/4 cup of My Protein Oat Powder
2- 2 scoops of My Protein Impact Whey Pumpkin Pie
3- 1 tsp of baking powder
4- 1/2 tsp of baking soda
5- 1 tsp of cinnamon powder
6- 1/2 tsp of ginger powder
7- 1/2 tsp of nutmeg
8- 1/4 tsp all spice
9- dash of cloves powder
10- 1/4 cup of toasted walnuts
11- 1/4 cup of Ginger Chips (Ginger People Brand)
12- 2 heaping tbs of canned pumpkin
13- 2 egg whites
14- 3 tbs of nonfat plain yogurt
15- 2-3 oz of unsweetened almond milk
16- 1 tbs of liquid cinnamon extract
17- 1/4 cup of frozen blueberries
In a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients then add the wet and combine thoroughly then
pour the batter into a 8in loaf pan that has been coated with nonstick spray. Place the
pan into a 325 degree preheated oven for about 30 min. When done remove and let cool
completely before wrapping it in foil and keeping it in the fridge overnight before slicing.
I recommend waiting overnight to slice so that all the flavors can really come together
and it always taste better that way.

Pumpkin Pie final review
Mix Ability- 10/10- So far I haven't had any issues with all the flavors that I've
tried and in 5-6 oz of water using a shaker cup it mixes very smoothly with no
foaming, particles floating, or clumping so that's why the 10/10 for mix ability.
Taste- 7/10- I've gone through a few different pumpkin flavored proteins and Truetein
for me had to be the best which had a strong spice flavor to it and the texture when
drinking just felt like I was eating a slice of heavily spiced pie which I liked. 10/10
AI Sports Pumpkin Pie at first didn't blow me away cause it didn't have a heavy spice
flavor to it but after trying it a few times in a shake I could really taste the pumpkin pie
flavor without a heavy spice flavor but it tasted like an authentic slice of pie. 9/10
Nutrabio Pumpkin was completely different from the other two I tried and it tasted to me
like pumpkin puree and it just tasted like you cut open a pumpkin and mashed it up with
just a very slight spice flavor but really the natural pumpkin flavor is really what I tasted
in this one and for me it was unique and very enjoyable. 9/10
My Protein Pumpkin Pie-This one mixes up the thinnest of all the pumpkin proteins I've
tried and I do taste the pumpkin spice flavor but there is no depth to the flavor to really
give you that pie crust taste like AI did with theirs. It's a pretty good pumpkin spice flavor
which I feel My Protein should have called it pumpkin spice and it would have been a more
accurate name for the flavor but it still didn't have the heavy spice flavor of Truetein.
In a shake mixed with 5-6 of cold water it's pretty good but I felt the flavor came through
better when mixed with yogurt and cottage cheese. I also liked using this flavor in recipes
so would I recommend this flavor? I would recommend it but don't expect to taste the pie
and you'll just get a light pumpkin spice flavor but as I mentioned it really tasted a lot better
when mixed with milk products that I recommended above.
My Protein Impact Whey for Overnight Proats- This Impact whey is a pure concentrate and
really doesn't have any thickening ingredients so when proats it's just TOO thin. I recommend
when making proats with any of the Impact Whey flavors is to add a 1/4 scoop of either a casein
based van or choc to help thicken up the overnight proats and I've been doing this and it's
worked out well.Last edited by superhuman67; 02-04-2018 at 02:13 PM.

6- 1/4 cup of butter scotch chips
7- 1 tbs of liquid butter scotch extract
8- 2 heaping tbs of unsalted almond butter

I picked up a few more flavors of Impact Whey Candy Cane and Canadian Maple
which were two flavors I was looking forward to trying so I will be reviewing them
in this thread once I crack them. I also picked up Mocha which I already reviewed
in this thread and it's been a flavor I've been looking forward to getting back into
so I'm glad I have 2lbs of it to enjoy.

Everyone always mentions this flavor as being their favorite but they do a lot of other
flavors so I like trying some of the more exotic flavors first cause when it comes to
milk choc you can get that flavor from any co.
I cracked open the White Candy Cane last week and I've been putting a little dent
into the bag by trying it in shakes just so that I can get a good taste of the flavor
before I post my final review on it. I tried it in overnight proats today for the first
thing other than a shake.
I combined slightly less than one scoop of the White Candy Cane with a 1/4 scoop of
a casein based vanilla that I had on hand so that I could get a thicker bowl of proats
and it worked out very well. I've actually been doing this with the Butter Pecan and
the Pumpkin Pie flavor also so the proats can be thicker. On it's own Impact Whey
cause it's a pure concentrate doesn't thicken very well for overnight proats so combining
it with a casein based protein gets it to how I like my proats THICK!

The ingredients of this mini cake is exactly what I used for the muffins
which was just a little left over batter and the frosting is exactly how
I make all my frosting for any of my protein treats.
Frosting- Put 3/4 of a scoop of the Impact Whey Pumpkin flavor in a bowl
and add a few drops of water and stir briskly until you a get a thick spreadable
consistency then spread it all over the cake and then just garnish it.

After really biting through my 2lb bag of White Candy Cane Impact Whey this
is my final review on the flavor.
Mix Ability- 10/10 - So far I haven't had any issues with the mix ability of any of
the Impact Whey flavors that I've gone though and this Candy Cane flavor was
no different. I mixed it in this Twisted Shaker and in just regular shaker cups and
I used Ice cold water each time and the result was always the same no foaming
or particles floating around.
Taste- 9/10- The flavor is White Candy Cane and this flavor is STRONG and
when it comes to straight whey's such a isolates or concentrates the flavor usually
aren't that strong so you really don't wanna go past 5-6oz of water per scoop but
on this flavor you can go with anywhere from 7-10oz and the flavor won't be watered
down.
This taste exactly like a sweet candy cane and it's not some light mint flavor that is
a glorified vanilla with a touch of mint NOPE this is a straight up red & white candy
cane flavor.
I've enjoyed this flavor mixed with ice cold water post workout, I've mixed this flavor
with a multi blend choc protein to create a delicious choc/mint flavor. The choc protein
has to be a milk choc or a dark type flavor and you wanna avoid any choc nutty type
flavors cause it won't work with this strong mint flavor.
I've also mixed this flavor with a vanilla multi blend protein and it was vanilla wafer type
flavor which worked very well. I would also recommend either straight up vanilla or a
batter type flavor when mixing with this mint protein and you definitely wanna avoid any
vanillas that are either butterscotch or caramel type flavors cause they won't taste good
with this strong mint flavor.
I don't have a C&C protein on hand right now to test out but that flavor should also work
well combined with this Candy Cane flavor but again make sure the cream flavor of the C&C
is a straight cream or vanilla with no butterscotch or caramel flavor to it.
I've also been enjoying this White Candy Cane flavor mixed in yogurt and NO salt cottage
cheese. I recommend NO salt cause regular cottage with the heavy salt that most contain
might taste a bit weird with this heavy mint flavor so NO salt is the way to go and Friendship
is the brand I use but any NO salt brand should work if you can find it.
Overall- 9/10- I definitely recommend this flavor BUT you've been warned it's a very strong
mint flavor so be prepared. If you love the taste of candy canes then I don't think you'll be
disappointed when you taste this flavor but since it's one of those flavors that you probably
won't wanna have everyday make sure you have other flavors on hand to switch around so
you don't get tired of this flavor. I always keep at least 10 other flavors of protein open so
I mix things up each an every time I have a shake so I don't get bored with a flavor.
I'd recommend before jumping into a 5lb bag of this flavor grab a 10 serving bag to make
sure you like the flavor I personally had no issue grabbing a 2lb bag cause I know from
experience that I like mint flavored proteins.
The last mint protein I had was PES's Select Mint White Choc which I thought was fantastic
and probably one of my favorite flavors of Select but that one has a white choc flavor to
tone down the mint but this White Candy Cane has nothing to tone it down so that mint
flavor just comes right at you but I LIKE IT!!!
