I've been using this Micellar Casein in the Smooth Choc flavor mostly for
protein puddings where I combine it with a scoop of choc whey and it
definitely works well for thicken up my frozen puddings. I've also been
using it mixed with Impact Whey flavors to help thicken up my overnight
proats since Impact Whey by itself is a bit too thin on it's own for proats.
I've also been combining 1 scoop with a whey protein for my afternoon shakes
when I'm at work so that the shake can hold me over for about 2 hrs because
whey by itself digests way to too fast so the micellar casein helps slow it down
just a bit but I've also tried it on it's own so that I could review the taste.
Mix Ability- 9/10- This is PURE micellar casein with no other types of milk proteins
so the quality is very good. The powder at one scoop mixes very good with no foam
and no clumping. What you will get every once in a while is a tiny bit of the powder
will stick to the side of the shaker cup which happens pretty much to ALL pure micellar
casein powders.
When I used 1 scoop no blender ball is required but if your gonna do 2 scoops then yes
I recommend a blender ball for making sure the powder mixes smooth.
Taste- 8/10- The flavor is a Smooth Chocolate and that's pretty much what it taste like
and it has a nice coco flavor which isn't too sweet at all and you don't really get that
bit of after taste that you usually get from pure micellar casein's. The flavoring which
isn't super strong and sweetener do a good job of making any after taste which is usually
associated with this type of protein.
Overall- 9/10- If your looking for a quality micellar casein to use in any of the ways I
mentioned then you definitely should give this version form My Protein a try and they
usually run some kind of deal on their site so that would be the best time to grab a bag
of the smooth choc or any of the other flavors. I have the vanilla also so I'll be reviewing
that flavor real soon.

I've been using this Strawberry Cream flavor for a while now so it's judgement day!
Mix ability-8/10- This is the whey blend so it's a combo of whey isolate and whey concentrate
so it's not a straight concentrate like the Impact Whey which I've gone through a lot of flavors
without really any trouble with the mix ability. This flavor mixed with very little foam but it did
have a few particles floating around which I didn't notice from the Impact Whey though it wasn't
a big deal I just I''d mention the particles and I don't know if it's just from this flavor because I
haven't tried any of the other multi whey blend flavors
Taste- 8.5/10- Strawberry is another one of those flavors that at times it can be tough to get
right but this one has a good strawberry flavor to it with a bit of extra sweetness at the end
which I feel represents the cream part of the flavor. If I had to compare this strawberry to
another brand I would say it taste a bit like Grenade's strawberry but with a bit more sweetness
to it and of course the texture was bit thinner since Grenade has micellar casein in the profile.
If your looking for a pretty tasty strawberry I'd recommend giving this one a try and remember
I can't comment on the Impact Strawberry cream cause this is the blended whey strawberry cream
so the flavor could be different in that version.

Thank you and this is the recipe for these frosted strawberry banana coconut muffins.
Ingredients
1- 1 cup of My Protein Oat Powder
2- 2 scoops of Impact Whey Blend Strawberry Cream
3- 1/2 cup of unsweetened flaked or shredded coconut
4- 1 tsp of baking powder
5- 3/4 tsp of baking soda
6- 2 bananas mashed up in a separate bowl then add to the batter
7- 1 tbs of liquid banana extract
8- 3 tbs of nonfat plain yogurt
9- 2 egg whites
10- 1 oz of unsweetened almond milk
In a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients then add the wet and combine thoroughly.
Spoon the batter into a 12 muffin pan that has been coated with nonstick spray and
place the pan into a 325 degree preheated oven for about 20 min. Remove from the
oven and let cool completely before frosting them.
Frosting- Put 2 scoops of the strawberry cream Impact Whey Blend in a bowl and add
a few drops of water slowly and stir briskly until you get a spreadable frosting texture.
Spread some of the frosting on each of the muffins and garnish with a bit of coconut.

Ingredients
1-1 cup of MY Protein Oat Powder
2-2 scoops of Impact Whey Strawberry Cream
3-1/2 cup of unsweetened shredded or flaked coconut
4-1/4 cup of chopped roasted almonds
5-2 bananas mashed in a separate bowl to almost liquid then add to the batter
6-5 frozen strawberries cut in half
7- 2 tbs of liquid almond extract
8- 2 egg whites
9- 3 tbs of nonfat plain yogurt
10- 2oz of unsweetened almond milk
In a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients then add the wet and combine thoroughly
and spoon the batter into a 8in round baking pan that has been coated with nonstick
spray. Place the pan into a 325 degree preheated oven for about 25 min. When done
remove and let cool before storing it in the fridge until ready to eat.
You DON'T add any baking powder or baking soda because you want this to be a firm
dense tart with a lot of flavor and that's what you'll get if you use the same ingredients
and measurements that I posted above and it's a very delicious and heart treat. You can
top it with whatever you like such a yogurt, whipped cream, ice cream, or just enjoy it
the way I do with just as is with nothing added on top.

Hi i am planning to get the mocha flavoured impact whey. how does this compare to cellucor whey, texture wise. Cellucor ( molten Chocolate being my favourite ) mixes rather thick, which i prefer.
Have read reviews from many users that impact whey is more on the thin side.
and also, any clumpings issue when heated up in the microwave? would love a hot mocha treat every now and then.
thanks for your help

Funny you mentioned Mocha cause I just received a 5lb bag of that flavor 2 days ago that I ordered
during a good sale. Impact Whey is pure concentrate so it does mix up slightly thin but 6oz of water
is what I recommend for each scoop you might use in a shake. The flavoring is by no means weak like
others tend to say and their weakest flavor is the choc smooth but all the other flavors I've had a very
flavorful in 6-8oz of ice cold water. The Mocha is one of my favorite and I don't have a microwave so I
can't comment if it clumps when you heat it up.
I personally love the Mocha combined with other flavors of protein such as PB, Choc, Van, and maple flavor.
I also enjoyed making frozen protein pudding with this flavor and of course mixing it in yogurt and cottage
cheese. If you want ideas on how to combine this flavor or any flavor of Impact Whey that I've had to
go through this thread which has a bunch of recipes and pics.

Thanks and I've enjoyed most of the flavors of the Impact Whey that I've tried and as for strawberry cream
I just finished my 5lb bag of it and like you mentioned it didn't taste like medicine and I would buy this flavor
again in the future when it's available in the multi blend which has been OUT of stock for a while here in the
U.S. site

Butter pecan and peanut popcorn are legit flavors.
Pecan tastes like a sweet milk
Peanut popcorn tastes like a milky peanut butter, in a good way.
I mix pb popcorn whey with protein plus defatted peanut flour and a scoop of casein, makes a high protein sludge/homemade PB pudding that is bomb and low calorie high protein

Been buying Impact Whey for years now.
Mocha: Initially good flavoring but overtime it became really groce. Yuck. Glad I finally finished a 10 lb bag of it.
Chocolate smooth: It's alright I guess. I saw a lot of people recommending it online. The flavoring isn't strong so that's probably why people like it so much. I won't buy it again.
Strawberry cream is easily one the best tasting ones they have in stock. 100% will buy it again.
Chocolate mint: Another great flavor. Will buy again. Taste like andes chocolate mint. You gotta use 2 scopes otherwise it isn't strong enough.
Salt Caramel: Is bleh. It's okay.
Chocolate brownie batter: I like it a lot.Kindness is all that matters in life

Butter Pecan was very enjoyable and definitely a flavor I would buy again in the future.
I remember making frosted french toast with the butter pecan and they turned out delicious!
I will be picking up the peanut butter popcorn Whey Impact next time I need some whey protein
and I've seen good feedback on that flavor so I'm looking forward to trying it.

I had been wanting to try this flavor ever since it came out but I didn't see anyone reviewing it
FINALLY TJ of FDN did a sample review on his You Tube channel and he said it tasted nothing like
peanuts or popcorn but it tasted more like a unique vanilla so I was disappointed to hear that.
I picked up a 2lb bag on sale along with another flavor that I haven't tried yet but after going
through 1/2 a bag of the Peanut Popcorn this is my review on the flavor.
Mixability- 8/10 It mixes with not much foam at all but you do get some particles floating around
so if you have a blender ball I would recommend using it to get a better smooth blend.
Taste- 6/10- TJ was right this taste nothing like a peanut popcorn and what I'm getting a unique
vanilla type flavor and actually it's pretty good and it's better than My Protein's regular vanilla in
the Impact Whey and the multi blend which I also have. After trying this flavor many times in a
shake mixed with ice cold water and really trying to feel out the flavor I do get a ever so slight
popcorn after taste. It's the type of popcorn aftertaste you would get from caramel corn or
Cracker Jacks but if you only have a sample like TJ had then you really won't get that aftertaste
that I'm getting because it took a lot of try's to feel out the flavor.
As a unique take on a vanilla I'll give it an 8/10 because it is enjoyable and I don't drink milk with
my shakes but when I mix it into cottage cheese it taste VERY GOOD! I would buy this flavor again
but I already know it would be a vanilla protein flavor that I would be wanting cause again this does
not taste like the name Peanut Popcorn.

This Strawberry Armaretto was one of the newer flavors that was released with the Peanut Popcorn
that I reviewed late last year but I haven't seen much feedback on it so on my last order I picked up
a 10serving bag to give it a try.
The powder in a shaker cup mixed up very well with no blender ball and I found that this one mixed
better than the very popular salted caramel which didn't mix as well and I was always left with some
floaters with that flavor.
The flavor hit's with that strawberry cream taste which I've tried reviewed and enjoyed but with this
one you get a slight almond extract flavor which isn't too strong so you still taste the strawberry as
the main flavor and the almond flavor comes in as the follow flavor. I love almond extract flavor so for
me this flavor was a nice slight change from ordinary strawberry. When I mixed this flavor with yogurt
the almond flavor definitely came through much stronger in a good way so again if you've had the
strawberry cream flavor in the past from MP and liked it and you enjoy the taste of almond extract
then I'm sure you'll enjoy this flavor. If your on the fence about the flavor then I'd recommend getting
a 10 serving bag lie I did and make sure you like the taste before committing to either a 2lb, 5lb, or
11lb bag which I've seen on so VERY good deals on MP website. One thing I always recommend when
you have a fruit flavored protein is always have another basic flavor or two to rotate so you don't get
tired of the same fruit flavored protein.

It's been a while since I've tried any new flavors of Impact Whey, well this is my 2nd bag of
the Gingerbread flavor. If you are a fan of GINGER then I would recommend this flavor because
MY Protein really nailed a true Ginger flavor BUT I don't recommend this flavor as a drinking protein.
The flavor is a very strong GINGER and it doesn't have a bit of sweetness to help tame the
very strong ginger flavor.
I've enjoyed this flavor strictly mixed with oats for overnight proats, mixed with cottage cheese and
topped with a handful of nuts and some form of cinnamon based fiber cereal or granola, and of course
it works great in baked goods but again it's too strong of a ginger flavor to really drink. Would I buy
this flavor again HELL YEAH cause I've enjoyed utilizing in the ways that I mentioned above and also
I scored this flavor at $10 for a 2lb bag so that's a great deal that I will take advantage of again in
the future.
