Thumbs up Deal on cable crossover. . . .

I have been in the market for a used commercial cable crossover for some time now, but have yet to find one at a decent price with the features I want. I want adjustable pulleys and heavier stacks. I have virtually unlimited space (we recently sold our horses, and now have a big empty shop where we used to store our hay). I also much prefer a cable crossover over a functional trainers. The guy in the ad linked below is wanting $1100. Could anybody chime in on what I might make as a fair offer? Perhaps somebody can comment on the quality of this unit, or suggest a better brand to look for.

    Any comments are appreciated!!

Is that definitely adjustable pulleys? I don't see any pop-pin holes on the uprights for adjustment. Maybe it's another mechanism of adjustment.

It's definitely an older unit, but LF is a solid commercial brand. Doesn't seem like a terrible price - not a steal by any means.

I would guess its adjustable since I couldnt see any bottom pulleys.

I personally do not think thats worth 1100, but I have no idea what your market is like and how bad youre wanting cables.

It says he'll consider offers, so if this was my play, I would contact him and say, "If you could do 800, Ill pick it up today".

Personally I think anything under 1400 is a great price for that branded unit, it looks to be in excellent condition. Markets and desires would be a factor on the price for you. If you were to get it make sure you have the following tools, 14mm, 16mm, 19mm(just in case) sockets or wrenches, adjustable wrench, and a flat head screw driver.

It's adjustable, you can see the cable system is on its own upright, pop pin mechanism is probably on the other side.

    Awesome,
Thank everybody for their replies!!! I usually keep a bag full of wrenches and sockets in the trunk of my car just in case it breaks down on the freeway. Turns out I have been using these tools quite a bit to disassemble gym equipment to pack it in my poor old Dodge Neon!!! I live out in Utah, and much of what comes available besides brands from big box stores, Amazon, etc. is Freemotion (their main manufacturing facility is 5 minutes from my house), or Bigger, Faster, Stronger, which is manufactured in Salt Lake City, although they are better known for their training programs directed at football players than they are for their equipment. When other brands appear, it is often a novelty, lol. I think I will indeed follow the advice of offering a significantly lower amount with the condition that I pick it up today. Again, thanks everybody!
