I have my own personal reasons as to why I enjoy lifting and continually do it, it makes me feel strong even though I feel weak. That probably won't work with most people though, so how do I get people into fitness? People who have never even done a push up in their life, how do I get them interested?

Why do you want to get people interested? Are you a PT?
The best way to get people interested, is to just focus on yourself. If they see you getting fitter, people who want to get fit will naturally gravitate towards you.
Trying to get people into fitness in other ways doesnt work. If you try to encourage someone to get fit, when they havent asked for it, chances are they will think you are calling them fat,

Take them with you to train a few times and they will pick up with positive vibes. Most important is not to feel discouraged rather give them room to take the first step. If they are your friends or family give them a challenge and reward without making the workout as the hero. Search on google for tips on setting funny challenges.
